The Real Secrets To Greatness

Greatness does not happen by accident. Greatness is possible when you do more than others, when you do more today than you did yesterday, when you are getting better every day, when you get rid of what is not working, when you are aware of where you are in your life, when you know where you want to be, and when you know when to quit something that is not working.

People who are great at what they are doing are not better than you. They are not smarter than you. But they are aware of something that the rest of us are not paying attention to.

So if you want to invite greatness into your life, you have got to know what you want to achieve in your life. Then put everything into it. Pay attention to it. Nurture it. Protect it from weeds, from toxic minds, from small-minded people, from people who can’t see beyond where they are.

If you really want it, your greatness, you must surround yourself with people who are already great at what you want to do, people who have done it, lived it.

If you are always with people who are great at what they are doing, who are living their lives, who are after what is next, who know when to stop and recharge, your growth is unstoppable.

Remember, no one can stop you but you. That is true. You are the only one who can stop your growth.

But if you are determined to make a difference in your life, your greatness will happen. It will come to you when you know what you want, when you have a plan to get what you want, when you surround yourself with great people, when you are with people who are there to support you, and when you are patient with yourself.

Because success does not happen overnight. The question is, ‘Who are you surrounding yourself with?’
