Your number one job in life, according to Fred Rogers, “As human beings, our job in life is to help people realize how rare and valuable each one of us really is, that each of us has something that no one else has- or ever will have- something inside that is unique to all time. It’s our job to encourage each other to discover that uniqueness and to provide ways of developing its expression.”
Is willpower the key to success? Why do we need willpower to succeed? Is willpower enough to be successful in life?
According to American Psychological Association, “Willpower is the ability to resist short-term temptations in order to meet long-term goals.”
You need willpower to succeed. Willpower will motivate you to keep going, regardless of what is happening around you. Willpower will help you to focus on what is important in your life. Willpower is a motivator, a protector, and a driver.
The question is, “Is willpower enough to succeed?”
According to Dan Millman, an American author, Said, “Willpower is the key to success. Successful people strive no matter what they feel by applying their will to overcome apathy, doubt, or fear.”

Help you stay in the ring, no matter what
Help you to fight procrastination, doubt, and/or fear. But willpower is not enough to get you to the finish line. Willpower will help you prepare for what you want to accomplish in life, but action will get the job done.
Willpower will make you successful if you add hard work. If you want your willpower to make a difference in your life, you MUST work hard. Nobody succeeds without hard and smart work.
Willpower will make you successful if you work hard to make your dream a reality.
