Change is life. And life is change. If we are not changing, then something else is happening in our lives. Change is not easy. But without change, we are not going to grow. If you really want to grow, to expand yourself, then enjoy these three change lessons from Saul Alinsky. "Change means movement. "Change means movement. Movement means friction. Only in the frictionless vacuum, of a nonexistent abstract world can movement or change occur without the abrasive friction of conflict."- Saul Alinsky We need a bridge "Men don't like to step abruptly out of the security of familiar experience: they need a bridge to cross from their own experience to a new day."- Saul Alinsky We must work together "Change comes from power, and power comes from organization. In order to act, people must get together."- Saul Alinsky
The world is ready, if you are ready. There is no limit to what you can achieve in life, if your mind is ready.
Know what you want, then work really hard to get it.
If you do not know what you want, if you do not know why you are here, if you do not know who you are, if you do not know what you stand for, you will be controlled by what is happening around you.
To increase your infinite power, you must:
“Live with courage
If you want to be successful, to increase your infinite power, you need courage. Because it takes courage to do great things. Without courage, there can be no success. Without courage, there can be no peace. Sonia Choquette was right when she said, “Nothing feels better than when we live in accordance with our heart, as it brings about a sense of integrity and peace, and nothing is better for the world than that.” To live “in accordance with your heart,” you must be fearless.
Be present in the moment
The only time you have to connect with yourself, with other people, is now! So do not waste it. Whatever you are doing, be fully present. Wherever you are, be fully present. You will enjoy what you are doing when you are fully present. When you are with people, be there. Do not get distracted by little things. For example, your phone. According to Richard Carlson and Joseph Bailey, “When you are fully present in the moment- when you are deeply immersed in what you are doing- you will feel filled up and inspired by each experience. It will take relatively few experiences to make you feel as though life itself is rich and fulfilling. Each new experience will fill you with wonder and delight each one will be special.”
Be your own best friend
If you want other people to follow you, you must first follow yourself. If you want a friend, be one. Do not look for people who are not looking for you. According to Osho, “The first friendship has to be with oneself, but very rarely will you find a person who is friendly toward himself or herself. We are enemies to ourselves, while hoping in vain that we can be friends to someone else.” To be a friend to another person, you must first be a friend to yourself. Why is that? Because everything starts with you.
