The Power Of Clarity

When it comes to clarity, reading for information is like drinking salt water; it just makes you more thirsty…’

In your waking experience of reality, your mind continuously creates and perceives a world simultaneously… so well that you don’t feel your mind doing the creating.’

Our experience of reality is, quite literally, created from ‘the stuff that dreams are made of.’

Our perception of reality is less like looking out at the world through the lens of a camera and more like wearing a pair of virtual reality goggles.’

The fabric of your experiential reality is being generated by your mind.’

ThOUGHT is the reality principle.’

Contaminated thinking, arising from the outside-in misunderstanding, is the only thing that ever keeps us from clarity.’

Clarity is like the liquid in a snow globe. It’s always there, behind the scenes, ready to start emerging the moment you wake up to the outside-out nature of reality, the realisation that you’re living in the experience of the principle of THOUGHT taking from in the moment.’

Clarity of understanding leads to clarity of thought.’

A signal is only as good as your understanding of it.’

People who seem to fall apart at the slightest provocation are convinced their thinking is real. People who are resilient and resourceful in the face of hardship and crisis intuitively know their thinking is an illusion.’

People tend to think, speak and act as though their thought forms have the same qualities as the material world.’

Thought is the missing link that gives us the power to recognize the illusionary separation between the spiritual world and world of form.’

The true source of stress is the mistaken belief that we’re feeling something other than the principle of thought taking form in the moment… … that we’re at the mercy of something other than our moment-to-moment perceptions; a world ‘out there’ in space or time with power over how we feel…’

‘Increasing clarity is the inevitable result of a transformation in your understanding of how your experience is being created and of who you really are…’

Clarity isn’t an achievement; it’s a pre-existing condition.’

You are not a label. You are not your beliefs, thoughts or feelings about yourself. You are not the contents or structure of your thinking. And who you really are is far, far more than you think…’

As you allow yourself to be guided by wisdom, you create space for a deeper pattern of life to emerge. As you start living from a deeper understanding of the principles behind clarity, the circumstances of your life move into alignment with your deeper understanding.’

Writing is like driving at night in the fog. You can only see as far as your headlights, but you can make the whole trip that way.’

Present’ is whatever is happening moment to moment, prior to your habitual thinking.’

There is only ever this moment. The present is all there is… The future and the past are THOUGHT-generated illusions… Illusions that you only ever experience in the here and now.’

‘The major problems in the world are the result of the difference between how nature works and the way people think.’

The outside-in misunderstanding is the biggest time thief there is. If it wasn’t for contaminated thinking, we’d discover that every day brings a 1:1 match of time and enterprise. When we’re present, with a clear mind, we have what we need for the task at hand. We intuitively know when to pause and when to press on, when to rest and when to proceed…’

You are not your experience; you are what’s creating your experience; MIND, the power principle, the intelligent energy behind life…’

In any moment, you can wake up to the truth of who you really are and live life more more fully from clarity, realisation and peace of mind…’

Contaminated thinking creates the experience of separation.’

The true source of loneliness, isolation and most conflict is the mistaken belief that we’re feeling something other than THOUGHT taking form in the moment, that we’re at the mercy of a world ‘out there’ with power over how we feel.’

Connection, intimacy, and love are what’s already there for us when there’s nothing else in the way…’

Just as a wave has no existence separate from the ocean... The material world of form in all its glory has no existence separate from the formless energy behind life… Form and formless are one, a unified whole…’

In a dream, your mind creates and perceives a world…’

The capacity for realisation that lead to an increase in our clarity of understanding, a rise in our level of consciousness.’

‘A rise in consciousness is a permanent increase in your clarity of understanding…’

Every action a person takes is consistent with their understanding of how life works (even if they can’t explain why that’s so)

People always do what makes sense to them based on their embodied understanding of reality (aka their level of consciousness).

When you’ve got nothing on your mind, you’re free to give your best.’

‘The true source of leadership resides in clarity, giving you what you need in the moment to deal with the matter at hand.’

‘The misguided search for purpose is the biggest obstacle to finding it.’

How To Succeed At Work And Life

Success is work. It means work. If you want to succeed, you must do the work. Success is not going to come to you if you are not willing to do the work, if you are not willing to roll up your sleeves.

To make it in life, according to Josh Altman, ‘Know what you want. Trust your gut. Succeed at anything.’

If you want to succeed in life, the key is confidence.’ ‘You have to be ready to identify opportunities, you have to have confidence to make quick decisions and fire when those opportunities arise, and you have to learn from your mistakes and aim for better results in the future.’

You can be a success, but only if you train yourself to constantly be creating your own opportunities.’

Whatever your background is, whatever your skill set is, you have what it takes to be a success. The first step is to trust yourself.’

‘Learn what you do, then create a life where you’re usually doing the best of what you do.

If you can’t pick one clear objective you’re trying to get to, you’ll probably go nowhere.’

Pick a goal, pursue it, learn it, learn from what goes wrong, and keep pursuing ituntil you get it.’

Don’t base your decision of a goal on what seems attainable; base it on the desire that’s going to fuel you to do what it takes to keep going.’

If you can’t find the perfect job, work to make the job you have more perfect.’

Winning is definitely better than losing, but if you don’t play, that’s just boring.’

Make the big, daring choices that are required to elevate our lives out of normalcy. Boring choices may keep you safe and content, but they won’t make you rich, successful, or, in my opinion, truly happy.’

‘When you’re doing a job, don’t focus on the variables outside of your control. Focus on execution, do that job well, and trust that this task is part of a larger strategy you’ve already worked out.’

Don’t risk everything you have on an opportunity unless you are absolutely sure it’s the best and only choice.’

Finally, ‘if you keep moving forward and refining your aim, nothing can stop you.’
