Your Life Must Be What You Make Of It

“Life is a jest; take the delight of it. Laughter is best; sing through the night of it. Swiftly the tear and the hurt and the ache of it, find us down here; life must be what we make of it.”- Edgar Albert Guest, poet

Your life is a gift. You have the power to create the life you want to live for yourself. Do not live your beautiful life for people. It is your life, live it for yourself. But do not ignore other people. If you can’t help people, don’t harm them. Create a better world for yourself. Do it now. Do not waste your time. Use your time to be a blessing to yourself and to the people around you.

The more you bless others, the more blessings you will receive. It is better to bless than to curse. Live your life for yourself. You can do anything with it. Do not limit what you can do with your power, with the power within you. Yes, you have power to create your own life. And that power lives within you. It is not out there. It is within you. If you want to get it, if you want to create your own life, you MUST listen to your heart.

That is the only way. Yes, that is the only way. The problem is, we don’t listen to ourselves. Instead of listening to ourselves, we are busy doing other things that are not helping us. You own your life. Live it. Enjoy it. Do not waste it. Make yourself happy. Do not wait for people to make you happy. Do not wait for people to lead your life for you. They won’t. Because they are busy. They are doing their own things. They are busy creating their own lives.

Do not worry about what comes your way. Whatever comes your way, if you can change it, change it. Do not worry about what you cannot change. Doing that is wasting your time. Whatever happens to you, take it, learn from it, and move on with your life.

How To Keep On Being A Success

The toughest thing about success

“Talent is only the starting point.”- Irving Berlin

Do you know it? What do you think it is? In the words of Irving Berlin, “The toughtest thing about success is that you’ve got to keep on being a success.” It is easier to get to the top than to stay there. Success is beautiful, but hard to keep. To keep yours, do not rely on what got you there. Because what got you to the top won’t be enough to keep you there. You have got to be flexible. You have got to learn more about yourself. And you should never be afraid to change what is not working for you. Because if you don’t change it, it will change you. And to keep being a success, you must do things differently. And whether you like it or not, you must be a lifelong student of life. That is the only way to keep being a success.
