This Is Your Inner Strength

Respect your uniqueness. Always celebrate who you are. You are in charge of your life. Don’t give in to what people are saying about you. Whether people like you or not, that is okay. If they don’t like who you are, how you do your things, how you treat yourself, that is not your problem. What they are saying about you has nothing to do with you. But it has everything to do with them.

When you are doing your things, when you are living your life, do not expect some people to like you. What they want you to do is forget who you are, to go along, to follow them to wherever they are going.

Do not do that! Because you are here to make a difference, to touch other people’s lives. You are not here to make people happy, to please everybody.

If you do not have the courage to celebrate your uniqueness, you are not helping yourself. You are helping other people get better, not you.

The only way to find your true self, to celebrate who you are is to respect your uniqueness. Your specialness.

According to Joyce Meyer, ‘The things in your life that make you different aren’t hinderances … they are assets.’

Do not try to change how you look. Because God doesn’t care about how you look. God cares about your heart.

If you do not have a healthy heart, your possessions don’t matter. The best way forward, according to Brianna Wiest, ‘You owe it to yourself to determine the kind of person you want to be and how that person will allow themselves to be treated.’

Before you go, as always, let me ask you these questions. ‘What do you think about yourself? How do you feel about who you are? Do you ever compare yourself with other people and feel belittled if you can’t do what they can do or be like them?’ Don’t!!!!

Be you. Remember, You are more, not less!

Why People Want You To ‘Go Along’

Why are you here? What are you doing here? Are you here to express yourself? Or are you here to ‘go along’?

Life is too short for that. You are not here to go along. You are here to express yourself. To do that, you must find your own courage to be yourself, to do your own things. Because if you do not have the courage to be yourself, people will force you to ‘go along’.

Do not let that happen. Because you are more than that. Your life is more than that. Do what you can to make your life your own.

When people say no to you, then turn to God, your Father. Because He has what you are looking for- your peace of mind.

God doesn’t want you to just go along. He wants you to express yourself, to live your life. God doesn’t want you to waste your time. God wants you to work with other people. Because He knows that you won’t be able to get everything done alone.

But working with other people has nothing to do with going along. It has everything to do with who you are. It is about your values, not your possessions.

Working with other people is a sign of respect for others. It sends a message to them that they matter, that you see them.

Going along, on the other hand, has nothing to do with working with other people. Going along has everything to do with power.

People want you to go along so that they can do things to you, not with you. So that they can control you. So that they can make you feel bad about yourself. So that they can make your decisions for you. So that they can choose your career for you. So that they can tell you how you should live your life.

Do not give in to fear. That is what going along wants you to do to your life. It is not to help you get better. It is to push you to your own corner.

Now that you know why people want you to shut up and follow, what are you going to do to stop it from happening?

According to Iyanla, ‘In order to serve your own best interests and escape the trap of coersion, you must know that what you believe about yourself is valuable to you.’ And it is.

Before you go, remember, ‘

You are more, not less!
