We can make ourselves happy. But it comes with a price. Are you ready to pay the price? If you are ready to do it, here is how:

Do not ignore the ordinary things. According to Walter Dudley Cavert, “Happy you are if you have eyes to see the ordinary things that should give you joy!” Finding happiness is about focus. You get what you focus on. You attract what you focus on. You bring into your life what you focus on. So to bring good things into your life, you must focus your eyes on the ordinary things.

Do not be afraid to do what you love. Success, happiness comes from doing what you love to do. When you do what you love, it brings happiness into your life. It motivates you to do more, to achieve more, to face your fears, to respond to those who don’t believe in you. In the words of Joseph Murphy, “Find out what you love to do,then do it.”

You should never stop improving yourself. We are happy when we are growing, not when we are dying, not when we are wasting our lives. If you want to get better at what you do, if you want to make yourself happier, if you want to change your world, you must improve yourself. Christian D. Larson said, “… you must improve yourself before you can better your life.” Remember that learning is never enough. The more you learn, the more you know. So if you want to better yourself, your life, you should never stop learning.

Happiness is not about where you are today. Happiness is about how you live your life today. Happiness is about self-control. It is about self-discipline. Do not mess up your life. Do not focus on the negative side of life. Focus on what makes you happy. Be kind to yourself. Be kind to people. Enjoy the things you have. Stop focusing on what you do not have. No matter what is going on in your life right now, always look for the blessings. It is there. And when you focus on positive things, you will have more positive things to enjoy. Why not do that for yourself?

Why You Should Stop Searching For Happiness

Happiness is driving the world crazy. We want happiness. We want it today. We want it now. We want happiness, but the question is, “Are we doing the right things? Are we loving ourselves? Are we loving other people? Are we giving out enough love? Are we giving out enough happiness? If not, we should stop searching for happiness.

You can’t find happiness by searching for it. You find happiness by giving it out to other people. Happiness is about love. It is about gratitude. It is about kindness.

If happiness is what you really want, if happiness is what is driving you crazy, stop searching for it. Because you will never find it. Why? Because happiness is a spiritual thing. You can’t touch it. You can’t catch it. You can’t move it. You can’t see it. But you can feel it.

Yes, you can feel it. It is about how you conduct yourself every day. It is about how you live your life every day. If you want to make yourself happier, according to Christian D. Larson, “Simply exercise general self-control in everything you do.”
