8 Simple Ways To Forgive Yourself

Forgiveness is not about other people. Forgiveness is about you. It is the way forward. No matter what people have done to you, forgive them. It is a process. It is not an overnight thing. It is not an overnight event. It takes time to forgive. Do not rush yourself. Just take your time to prepare yourself. Forgiveness is not easy, but it is better for you, for your health, for your life. So if you want to do it, now is the right time to do it.

You can. You will. And you must forgive. Here is how to do it properly:

Change what you believe about yourself

“I change my story by changing what I believe about myself.“- Don Miquel Ruiz

Forgiveness starts with you. It is for you. So to really forgive yourself, to really forgive others, you must first change what you believe about yourself. If you cannot change what you believe about yourself, you cannot forgive yourself.

Learn from your mistakes

Do not let your past mistakes take over your life. It is normal to make mistakes. You cannot grow without them. A mistake is a sign of growth. If you make mistakes, do not beat yourself up. Just learn from them. In the words of Anthony Robbins, “Take the opportunity to learn from your mistakes: find the cause of your problem and eliminate. Don’t try to be perfect; just be an excellent example of being human.” That is why you should make more mistakes. Because learning is not about trying to be perfect, but to get better at what you do.

Value yourself

Until you value yourself, you won’t value your life. And do not expect other people to value you if you cannot value yourself, if you cannot respect yourself. M. Scott Peck once said, “Until you value yourself, you won’t value your time.” Why is that? Because your life is time. And time is your life. Remember, if you value your life, you won’t waste your time. No matter what, do not let anyone put you down. You must surround yourself with great people. To do that, you must first value yourself. You must believe in yourself. If not, you can’t do it.

Thank God for all He has done for you

According to Mary Manin Morrissey, “Thank you, God. I may not have reached my dream, but I am grateful for that which I do possess.” Yes, to get more in life, you must first appreciate what you have. You must focus on what God has given to you, not what you do not have. When you appreciate what you have, you will have more to be grateful for.

Act happy, feel happy, be happy…”

“Act happy, feel happy, be happy, without a reason in the world. Then you can love, and do what you will.”- Dan Millman

Remember that the essence of life is to be happy. And it is your responsibility to make yourself happy. No matter what is going on in your life, do not forget to make yourself happy.

Be there for yourself

Dr Phil says, “You’re only lonely if you’re not there for you.” People are lonely because they are not there for themselves. Do not do that to yourself. Do not let the fear of other people’s opinions stop you from being there for yourself. Because if you do not have the courage to be there for yourself, no one is going to be there for you.

Surround yourself with great people

To forgive yourself, you must surround yourself with great people. Who are they? Why are they different? They are for you, not against you. They are for your dreams, not against your dreams. When you are with great people, you can do what you will. According to Og Mandino, ” Do not listen to those who weep and complain, for their disease is contagious.” So let me ask you. Who are the people around you?

“Never compare yourself or your achievements with others.”

Focus on what you are doing. Others are doing their own things. Don’t worry about what others are getting, what others are doing, or where they are going. That is not your business. What you are doing is your business, is your responsibility, not what others are doing. Focus on yourself. If you want to compete, compete with yourself. It is simple, but hard to do. When it comes to living your life, do what Norman Vincent Peale said. Norman Vincent Peale said, “Never compare yourself or your achievements with others.” If you have the courage to compete with yourself, you will have the courage to live a great life. Because it takes courage to live a great life.

Never Think That You’re Not Good Enough Yourself

Anthony Trollope once said, “Never think that you’re not good enough yourself. A man should never think that. People will take you very much at your own reckoning.” You should never think that. Because you are a special human being.

“The purpose of living is growth.”

God didn’t create you by mistake. God created you for a purpose. You are here for a reason that is bigger than you. And that reason should be your mission. Do not make yourself smaller than you really are. People will treat you the way you want to be treated.

“Never think that you’re not good enough yourself.”- Anthony Trollope

You are good enough. You are smart enough. You are tall enough. You are rich enough. You are beautiful enough. You are you. You are here to follow your dreams. You are here to achieve your dreams. You are not here to compete with anybody. You are here to compete with yourself.

Whether you are rich or poor, you are good enough for yourself. Whether you are tall or short, you are good enough for yourself. Whether you are smart or not, you are good enough for yourself. Whether you have a degree or not, you are good enough for yourself. Whether you have a job or not, you are good enough for yourself. Because you are good enough for yourself. You are not doing people’s things. You are doing your own thing.

“You are here to live your life, not to prove yourself to anybody.”

As Maya Angelou once said, “You alone are enough. You have nothing to prove to anybody.” Yes, “you have nothing to prove to anybody.” You are here to live your life, not to prove yourself to anybody. Even though you want to prove yourself to someone, prove yourself to yourself. That is it!
