Why You Should Trust Yourself

“What I really need is to get clear about what you I must do, not what I must know, except insofar as knowledge must precede every act. What matters is to find a purpose, to see what it really is that God wills that I shall do; the crucial thing is to find a truth which is true for me, to find the idea for which I am willing to live and die.“- Soren Kierkegaard

Trust yourself. But do not blindly trust yourself. If you do not know what you are doing, do not play with other people’s lives. If you do not know something, say it, admit it. It is a strength, not a weakness.

And to really trust yourself, to really believe in yourself, to really give yourself love, you must stop judging yourself. Stop judging yourself. Stop judging your life. Do not compare the life you are living now to other people’s lives. Mind your own business. Because when you focus on other people’s lives, when you do not trust yourself, you are going to be frustrated with yourself. You are not going to be comfortable with yourself. And you are going to be constantly criticizing yourself, your actions. Stop it. Stop telling yourself lies. Stop putting yourself down. Remember, no one is going to respect you if you do not have the courage to respect yourself.

“Learn how to be comfortable with yourself.”

Treat yourself with love, with compassion. Do not put yourself down, no matter what. Know that we are all different. We are all different. We are one, but different. You are different. The way you talk is different. The way you walk is different. The way you kiss is different. Your personality is different. Your DNA is yours. It is different. Look, instead of telling yourself how bad you are, how terrible you are, why not use the same energy to give yourself love, to celebrate your life, to relax?

Relax. Just find time to connect with yourself, to connect with your inner world, to connect with your mind, to refresh your thoughts. You need it. We all need time to relax. But we don’t give it to ourselves. Why is that? Because we are trying to prove ourselves. That is why the world is suffering from “busyness syndrome.” Because we don’t have time for ourselves anymore. We are just chasing our worldly dreams. We are doing what the world wants us to do. We don’t even have the time to live our own lives, to love ourselves, to take care of ourselves, to enjoy our worldly possessions. We don’t.

“Life will usually go on if things don’t go according to plan.”- Richard Carlson

But you can change your life. You can choose how you want to live your life. You can design the life you want for yourself. Just create time for yourself. Do not be afraid to be alone. Because if you really want to clear your mind, you need alone time. It doesn’t mean you are lonely. You are not. You are just trying to reconnect with your true self. When you allow yourself to relax, you will come back better, stronger. When you allow yourself to relax, when you allow yourself to love yourself, when you allow yourself to be, to be you, you will come back healthier, happier.

We need it, but we don’t relax. We don’t even know how to make peace with ourselves. Whether you know how to trust yourself or not, whether you know how to make peace with yourself or not, if you want to be happy, you must learn how to relax. To make peace with yourself, Dr Richard Carlson said, “The first step in becoming a more peaceful person is to have the humility to admit that, in most cases, you’re creating your own emergencies.” Trust yourself. Stop making “your own emergencies.” All you need from yourself is to learn how to live with yourself. Because if you don’t know how to live with yourself, you won’t be able to live with other people. And to live with others, learn how to trust yourself. Because trust is the only way to greatness.

How To Design Your Own Future

Keep your goal at the very forefront of your mind and be diligent about directing all your thoughts, focus, conversations, and actions in service of its success.”– Jen Sincero

Do not just talk about your future. If you want it to be different from what you have now, you must change what you are doing. Why is that? Because you have the power to shape your future. Yes, the future is unpredictable. But if you take what you are doing right now seriously, if you are doing what you are supposed to be doing, if you are meeting the right people, if you are challenging yourself, if you are questioning the status quo, then you can shape the direction of your future.

“The future cannot be predicted, but futures can be invented.”- Dennis Gabor

Yes, it is very difficult to predict the future. But if you know what you want for yourself, you will know what to do. You will know what not to do, what to avoid. Look, your future is in your own hands. If you want a better future, you must work for it. You must invent it. You must create it. Do it for you. Do not let people distract you from achieving your dreams. If you have a friend, or if you know people who are not for your dreams, let then go. Don’t let them hang around you. Do not let them drive your life. If you do, you will regret it. You will.

To live your life, you must own it. You must be your own driver. You must have the courage to think your own thoughts. You must be free to think for yourself, to think about your future. to think about what you are going to do to achieve your dreams, to love yourself, no matter what. According to John Galsworthy, “If you don’t think about the future, you cannot have one.” It is true. To have something, it must first accupy your mind. If you want something, think about it every day. If you don’t want something in your life, don’t think about it. Let it go. Do not worry about it. Do not let it dominate your mind.

“Your task is not to forsee the future, but to enable it.”- Antoine de Saint Exupery

And you can get rid of it if you are not afraid to dream big dreams. When it comes to your future, do not be afraid to dream big dreams. But to make them happen, you must do the work. Whether you like it or not, you must get your hands dirty. You must do the work. You must walk your talk. You must do what you say you are going to do. In the words of Richard Templar, “You are allowed to dream as high, as wide, as big, as extravagant, as impossible, as wacky, as silly, as bizarre, as unrealistically nonsensical as you want.” It is your future we are talking about here. You don’t know what you are going to meet. If you do not take the right risks, how are you going to get there? Do you even think you are going to get there? What do you think?

If you want to achieve your dreams, you must take calculated risks. If you want to be successful, you must meet the risks in your way. If you want to get ahead in your life, you must be comfortable taking the right risks. Do not be scared to dream. Dreams are free. But if you want your dream to come true, you must do the right things. You must follow your path. You must be comfortable with yourself. And you shouldn’t be scared of the unknown. Because the future is unknown. Whatever is unknown, is always scary. And that is why lots of people are stuck in their comfort zones.

Leave your comfort zone. It can’t help you. Believe in yourself. Do not let fear stuck you in your comfort zone. You need yourself to get what you want. You need your soul to get what you want. And you need to accept yourself as you are. Because if you are not yourself, you are not going to be able to achieve your goals.

Your goals are in your hands. If you want to bring them to light, you must start your life with what you have. Do not wait for the right time to take action. Start with what you have, then build on it. And remember that you are not going to be perfect. And accept that every day is not going to be the same for you. Whatever you have, take it, work with it. Do not wait for the right time to do your work. Do not wait for the right time to plan for your future. If you want your future to be better than what you have right now, you must start with who you are. When you do, you will have fun.
