Success is work. It means work. If you want to succeed, you must do the work. Success is not going to come to you if you are not willing to do the work, if you are not willing to roll up your sleeves.

To make it in life, according to Josh Altman, ‘Know what you want. Trust your gut. Succeed at anything.’

If you believe in yourself, you can achieve your dreams. Because your self-belief creates your world.

If you want to elevate your life, you must first align your dream with who you are. According to Jason Derulo,

‘Life is short, and if you don’t love the art you’re creating and enjoy the road you’re taking toward your goal, what is the point?’

‘Your dream is within your reach.’

‘Stop being boring. Stop being derivative. Stop being scared.’

Because ‘if you want to have a chance of long-term success as a creative of any kind, you need to make creating content a part of your daily routine.’

That is what creators do. They create. They don’t wait for the perfect time. Because they know there is no such thing as the right time to do something.

‘Start today. Find a way. There’s always a way.’ If you mean it, you will find a way. If you are not serious about it, you will find excuses.

Excuses are why people don’t try. If you don’t try, nothing is going to happen. If you do try, even if you do not win, at least, you have learned something you can use in the future.

Whatever it is that you want to do, that you want to create, do not fear failure. Go for it. ‘If you fail nine times out of ten, but that tenth time you succeed, that’s really all that matters.’

Take more risks. But not useless risks. ‘Risks fail hard or they succeed big. That’s a good thing. Great art is often polarizing. People love it or hate it.’

Do not worry about what people are going to say. If you don’t create, they will say something. If you do create, they will say something. So why not create?

Fail or not, always try. Fail your way to success. But you have got to do the work. Because success comes after work, not before work. If you want to do well in your life, ‘you’ve got to put in the work if you want to succeed.’

Ask yourself, ‘Do I really want this thing?’ If you want it, then do what it takes to make it happen. Because ‘the route to your success lies in your routine. Don’t let anything or anybody knock you off that path.’

And wherever you are, whatever you do, ‘whatever you create, think about how can you simplify it so that people can join you instead of just watching you.‘

Because no one succeeds alone. If you want to succeed, do it with other people. And if it gets tough, ‘instead of lying around feeling sorry for myself, I focused all of my energy on using this setback as an opportunity.’ Because ‘there’s no such thing as free time, because every minute is valuable.’
