The Power Of Honesty: Own Your Story

‘If you cannot tell the truth about yourself, you cannot tell it about other people.’- Virginia Woolf

Be honest with yourself. Tell the truth. No matter where you are, what is going on, if you want to experience peace in your life, you must be honest with yourself.

Do not deceive yourself. Don’t make things up. Tell the world about yourself.

Do not be scared to talk about yourself. If you do not do it, someone else will do it for you.

Do not let that happen. Because you are enough. Because you have what it takes to tell your own story. You are strong enough, smart enough, to write your own story.

If you are not writing your own story, someone else is writing it.

If you want to read the correct story about yourself, you must write it yourself. You must own your story.

That is what honesty is. Honesty is when you have the courage to accept your life, when you are NOT scared to talk about your mistakes, your failures, your successes, and your dreams.

Tell it. Say something about yourself. You know who you are, what you have done, what you are doing, and where you want to be. We don’t know what you are thinking, but you know what you are thinking right now.

We don’t know what you are planning to do next, but you know where you are going. We do not know what you have done in the past, but you know what you have done in the past, and where you have been. You know everything about your life.

When you are comfortable with yourself, when you are comfortable with your mistakes your failures, they can’t control you anymore.

That is one of the benefits of being honest with yourself, with others. When you are honest with yourself, you are free. Honesty means freedom.

Because you do not have anything to hide. You are free. You are free because you are not afraid to talk about your life.

You are comfortable with yourself, no matter where you are. That is what people want. People want to deal with real people, people who have nothing to hide.

When you are who you are, no one can control you. Because you do not have anything to hide.

The question is, ‘Are you living your life?’

How Patience Can Help You Face Your Life

‘There is no road too long to the man who advances deliberately and without undue haste; there are no honors too distant to the man who prepares himself for them with patience.’- Jean de La Bruyere

Be patient with yourself, no matter what is going on in your life. If you are not where you are supposed to be, be patient with yourself.

If you are not making enough money to live your life, with hard work, everything is going to be alright. Trust what God is doing in your life.

If you have not be treating yourself with love, you have got to stop doing that to yourself. You are on a journey. You are not racing with other people.

You are racing against yourself, your yesterday’s self. Beating yourself up is not going to add anything to your life. Instead, it is going to take a lot from you. For example, your peace, your happiness.

Do not do that to yourself. When things are hard, when things are not going well, just remember why you are here. God created you for a reason.

You are not here by accident. You are not here by mistakes. You are alive to make a difference, to change the world, to write your own history.

Isn’t that great?

That is why you shouldn’t give up, no matter what you are facing in your life right now. If you do not give up, you will win. But if you give up on yourself, on your dreams, everything is over. Life is gone. Dreams are gone.

Please don’t do that to your beautiful life. People are counting on you. People are praying for you to make it in your life.

It is going to be alright. You are not living by accident. You are living a life of purpose. Whatever it is that you want to do, don’t wait for the right time. Because the right time will never come to you.

Now is your right time. Be patient. Don’t rush the process. Because you can’t acquire patience overnight.

If you want to be successful in your life, you must be patient with yourself.

If you want to get to the other side, you must respect yourself. You must be patient with others. Because ‘patience can’t be acquired overnight.’
