What Does It Mean To Live An Abundant Life?

What does it really mean to live an abundant life? Is it about you? Is it about how you live your life? What is it really about?

Living an abundant life is about you. It is about how you live your life. It is not about what you have; it is about the feelings you get from what you have. It is not about money; “it’s how you think about money. It’s about how you behave with money.” It is about how you treat yourself. It is about how you treat what you have. It is about how you do your work, not about what you do. It is about love, self-love. Because it is not possible to live an abundant life if you don’t love yourself, if you don’t love who you are.

Living an abundant life is more than material possessions. Regina Brett says, “Living an abundant life doesn’t mean winning the lottery, marrying rich, or getting a raise. It starts with a raise in consciousness and spread from there. It starts with knowing that what you want isn’t always what you need, and often isn’t even what you truly want. It starts with making smart choices that lead to long-term gratification.” If you want to live a great life, you must start with “making smart” decisions.

To Get What You Want, You Must Understand This One Thing

Anything is possible. Whatever you want, you can get it. To get it, you must do your work.

If you really want something, it is not enough to just talk about it. If you want it to happen, you must make it happen.

It is good to dream, to have a big dream, but without work, without focus, it won’t work.

If you want to be successful, “if you want to be rich, do the opposite of what everyone else is doing, say no to unproductive activities, avoid bad habits, select your friends carefully, be disciplined and patient because it takes time to achieve anything worthwhile.” Be patient with yourself. It takes time to do great things.

So if you want to achieve greatness, you must focus on what you want, not on what you do not want.
