How To Stop Worry When It Comes

‘When worry comes, don’t go on autopilot; don’t just let it play over and over in your mind.’- Joel Osteen

Worrying about things is normal. We cannot stop it from happening. But we can do something about it. We can stop it from taking over our lives.

Before you give in to worry, ask yourself, ‘Is worrying going to make things better or worse? Am I helping myself or hurting myself?’

Negativity makes things worse, not better. Positivity makes things better, not worse.’

If the answers are not what you want to hear, then you must stop it. Worrying about things, especially things you can’t do anything about, it is a waste of time.

It is okay to worry about things, especially when things are not going well. But is not good to make it a habit. Don’t do it every day.

Because nothing is going to get better just by thinking negatively about it. If you want things to get better, you must change your thoughts. You must shift your state of mind.

Instead, focus on what you can do right now to make your situation better. Look for ways to make yourself happy.

If you are a reader, then pick up a book and read. If you love music, then listen to your favorite one. If you love to go out, then reach out to one of your people. Because it is better that way. You feel really better when you are around people who are for you, who want you to make it in life.

When worry comes, remember: negativity makes things worse, not better. Positivity makes things better, not worse.

As always, you are more, not less!
