Take Care Of What Matters

Take care of yourself. If you do not respect yourself, you will find it difficult to trust other people. If people do not trust you, you will find it really hard to work with them. And if you cannot work with other people, you will find it hard to achieve what you want to achieve in your life. That is why it is important that you take care of everything.

Taking care of everything does not mean you have to forget about yourself. That is not what I am saying. I am saying be there for you before you can be there for others.

If you do not have, can you give? If you are honest, the answer is a big no!

To take care of everything, you must first take care of everything about you. Take care of your thoughts. Take care of your feelings. Take care of your actions. Take care of those around you, including the people you work with. Take care of your learning, your growth.

Take care of your character. If you lose your character, nothing else matters. Take care of your dreams. Do not afraid to live your dreams.

When things are not going according to your plan, do not be afraid to take a different path, even if you have to do it alone. Focus on learning how to do things right. Learn to celebrate what you have, so that you can have more. Value your life. Do not worry about what you have been through. They matter, but do not dwell on them. Because all that you have is now, right now. If you do not live it, it is going to go away. And it will never come back to you.

Value what God has blessed you with- your life, your work, your family, your friends. Without them, life is empty. Without real connections, life is not complete. If you want to complete your life, you have to value your life.

3 Ways To Connect With Other People

Life is about connecting with other people. One of the best ways to do it is to be who you are.

Don’t fake anything about yourself. Just be you. Wherever you go, take your light with you. Wherever you go, take your love with you.

If putting yourself out there makes you uncomfortable, here are some suggestions:

Accept who you are

‘Your introverted qualities, like thoughtfulness and observation, can make you a great conversationalist. You don’t have to dominate the conversation to be engaging.’- Ryan Leak

Learn to laugh at yourself

‘People probably think about you less than you think they do, and they don’t walk around all day remembering that joke you tried to tell that fell flat. Relax, be friendly, and have fun.’- Ryan Leak

Get out of your comfort zone

‘Our collaboration with other generations will rise or fall depending on how well we’re able to communicate with people who are different than us.’
