When you feel good about yourself, you feel good about the things around you. Your life. Your relationships. Your work. Your health. Your spirituality.

“Positive people feel better about themselves.”

“Negative people feel bad about themselves.”

“Positive people are more productive than negative people.”

Why is that? What can we do about it? Can we really do something to change how we see the things around us?

If you feel negative about yourself, about things, you will view the word in a negative way. But if you feel positive about about yourself, you will feel positive about the world and the things around you.

How you see yourself is how you will see the world.”

A positive attitude gives energy.”– Edward de Bono

To add to that, “A negative attitude sucks energy.”

Positive people believe that everything is possible. Negative people believe that nothing is possible. If you ask them to do something,

People with positive attitudes will say, “We can do it.”

People with negative attitudes will say, “We can’t do it.”

If you want something to get done, hire people with positive attitudes.

If you want to maintain a positive attitude every day, don’t compare yourself to others. They are not who you think they are.

Always think in a positive way. If you think in a positive way, you will feel positive about yourself. If you think in a negative way, you will feel negative about yourself.

Do not feel bad about yourself. Always feel good about yourself by focusing on the most important things in your life, and taking actions to make them happen.

Do not doubt yourself. If you believe in yourself, people will believe in you. If you don’t, no one will. Remember, “success in life starts with self-belief.”

Surround yourself with positive people. The more you hang around positive people, the more positive you will be. “Positive people celebrate other positive people.”

A positive attitude is contagious.”

Read positive quotes or books before you start your day. Reading positive things will help you program your mind for positive things.

Expect positive things. You get what you expect. If you expect negative things, you will get negative things. If you expect positive things, you will get positive things.

Don’t dwell on the past. You cannot change the past, but you can change tomorrow. How? By focusing on what you are doing right now. Prepare for your tomorrow today. What you do today will determine how successful you will be tomorrow.

Take responsibility for your actions. No matter what went wrong in the past, no matter what is happening now, and no matter what will happen tomorrow, hold yourself accountable. Don’t blame anyone for your mistakes. Don’t blame yourself for your mistakes. Instead, accept your mistakes, learn from your mistakes, and move on.

No matter where we are in life, attitude matters!

If You Really Want To Be Happy, Do These 4 Things Every Day

“I have learned to seek my happiness by limiting my desires, rather than in attempting to satisfy them.”- John Stuart

Happiness is not what you get from people, it is what you give to people.

You can find your own happiness within yourself. It comes from how you feel about yourself. You cannot be happy if you feel really bad about your life.

“Happiness is not what you get from people, it is what you give to people.”

To sustain the happiness within you, you must take action. You must hold yourself accountable for your own happiness. You must not wait for people to make you happy. You must act now by doing the following every day:

Focus on what is important to you. It does not matter what it is that is important to you, focus on doing it. Don’t engage yourself in a rat race. Focus on the things that can change your life. The more you focus on what is important to you, the better you will feel about yourself and your life.

As John Dewey once said, “To find out what we are fitted to do, and to secure an opportunity to do it, is the key to happiness.”

Expect change every day. The first step to a better and happier life is to expect and embrace change in your life. Whether you know it or not, we are changing every day. Do not resist change, embrace it. Instead of trying to resist change, find a way to understand it, and how to cope with it. That is the only way to a better life.

Focus on the good things that are happening around you. A lot of people are not happy today because they focus on the bad things that are happening around them. If you want to be happy, focus on what is positive in your life, in your work, in your relationships, and ignore what is not working. Focusing on what is not working will make feel bad about your life. If you focus on negative things, you will continue to bring in negative things into your life. To be super happy, focus on light, not darkness.

Always make yourself and other people happy. Give people a beautiful smile. Don’t frown your face all the time. If you do, people will not want anything to do with you. Make people laugh. Make them happy. Help them find the happiness within them, and they will help you find yours.

“The most wasted of all days is one without laughter.”- E.E. Cummings
