Immunity Is Not Permanent

Being smart, strong, successful, and resourceful is not enough. The immunity you think you have is not real, and the protections you think you have in place are not permanent.’

‘You don’t have a multi-disciplinary team paid to support you- you only have your own health.’

In resilience, unhelpful thoughts eat your best intentions for breakfast.’

One thing we have control over is our thoughts. We need to listen to our self-talk and watch for possible biases to make good decisions.’

When it comes to your resilience, tipping too far toward optimism can become a liability.’

Resources are limited, just like in business. Which means you have to make choices.’

When Life Throws Things At Us

For as long as you live your life, nothing is going to be perfect. Do not expect what is perfect from something that is not perfect. Do not expect people to be perfect. And do not expect yourself to be perfect.

Because it is not going to happen. if you want to experience life, a real life, you must forget about being perfect. You must stop talking about creating a perfect world. You must stop thinking about working with perfect people. It is just a dream that will never come true. It is a goal that will never come to fruition.

If you are seeking perfect things from imperfect people, you are just kidding yourself. If you think you can make it happen, then try it. Try it and see what happens.

Maybe you can do it. Maybe you can’t do it. Who knows? Whether you think you can create a better world or not, you are right.

But that is not how life works. Life tests people. For as long as you are here, life will always throw things at you that you can’t stand.

When that happens, life is asking you to step up, to wake up, and to start moving. When life throws things at us, life is asking us to start creating things that we thought were impossible.

When life throw things at us, life is asking us to get back up, to wake up, and to start challenging old beliefs.

When life throws things at us, life is asking us to do more than we are doing now. Life wants us to look at ourselves and say, ‘We will succeed, no matter what.’

If you want to create a better self, a better life, and a better world, you must be willing to absorb whatever life throws at you. If you can, you can win.

The question is, ‘Are you willing to face life?’
