5 Super Questions That Will Change How You Live Your Life

Are you writing a history of misery, or a tale of tenacity?’– Iyanla Vanzant

What are you writing? Are you writing your own story, or are you waiting for other people to write your story for you? Do not wait. Do it yourself.

What if someone you loved and respected suddenly stopped speaking to you?’- Iyanla Vanzant

Do not brush it under the rug. Because you do not know what is going on with him or her. To know, you must ask. Keep asking until you know what is going on. If not, it is not going to go away.

What are you still holding on to?’

Look, life is precious. If you are not growing, you are dying. If something is not making you happy, if something is not growing you, it is killing you. If something is NOT adding value to your life, let it go. Remember, to let go is to let in.

Are you willing to be vulnerable?’

If you want to grow, if you want to improve yourself, your life, being vulnerable is the way to go. If you are not willing to be vulnerable, you will not know what you can do to change your life. If you want to grow, being vulnerable is everything. It is the way.

Are you a victim, or are you a victor?

You are a winner. You are not a loser. You are a doer, a producer. according to Iyanla Vanzant, ‘As long as you are a victim you will have someone to blame, someone to hold accountable for what went on and what is going on in your life.’ If you think like that, it is not going to be easy for you to create the life you want for yourself.

Whatever is going on in your life, you can handle it. Don’t blame it on anybody. It is your own to face. If you can face it, you can move forward.

The question is, ‘Are you willing to take full responsibility for your life?’

Living Your Life Means…

If you are living your life, you have nothing to worry about. But if you are not living your real life, if you are trying to fit in, if you are trying to be who you are not, if you are telling yourself lies, if you do not have the courage to express your authentic Self, you have everything to worry about.

Why is that? Because authenticity builds life. Lies destroy lives. When you are real, when you don’t fake your life, you are in a better position in your life. And you are in a better position to face what is coming, what you do not yet know.

Living your life means you are just you. You are not scared to express who you are. You are comfortable with yourself.

You are not living your life if you are still hiding your real self, if you are still thinking about what other people are thinking about you, if you do not have the courage to ask for what you want and need.

You are not. You are living your life when you are free to show the world who you really are, what you can do to change the world, when you are not afraid to speak your mind, when you are not pretending to be who you are not, when you are comfortable with yourself, when you are comfortable talking about your weaknesses, when you take your life seriously, and when you are who you are, no matter where you are.

Living your life means doing what other people are afraid to do. It means you are living your real life, not faking anything. Living your real life mean you know what you do not know. It means you are willing to make things better, no matter what.

In order to do it really well, to live your real life, you have got to believe in yourself. You have got to have a solid foundation. You have got to love your life, no matter what is going on within you. Because self-love is everything. When you love yourself, you can bear anything in life. You can handle anything in life.

The question is, ‘Do you have the courage to live your life?’
