If You Want To Get, You Must Share

If you want to get anything from other people, you must share. Share your talents. Share your time. Share your money.

Whatever you have, share. It is good for you. It is good for your health. It is good for your happiness. And it is good for your growth.

According to Dan Pontefract, ‘If you are a giver of information and wisdon, your colleagues become smarter and are far more likely to address their specific objectives, tasks and goals.’

You feel good. Giving away information and knowledge to help others will release the hormones dopamine and oxytocin.’

Becoming unafraid to ask others for information demonstrates your vulnerability, something we don’t see enough of in today’s leaders.’

Honor Yourself For Who You Are

What is life really about? Is it about love? Hope? Care? Compassion? Work? Achievements? Drive? Gain? Loss? Respect? You? Others?
What is it about? Is it about growth? Purpose? Adversity? Everything?
Is it about something bigger than us? What do you think?
To be sincere, life is more us. Life is not about us. It is about others. Because when you serve others, other people will serve you.
If you do not have the love to make others, to bring out the best in them, to help them find their lives, then no one will have the courage to be there for you.
Life is not about changing other people. You can't change them. But you can change yourself. You can change your thoughts. When you change your thoughts, you change your life.
Do not try to change others. Try really hard to change yourself. You do that by honoring your life.
When you honor yourself, you honor others. You bring light into their homes, into their lives.
Honor is light. You can't do it alone. You do it with people.
To honor yourself is to see others as they are, is to see yourself as you are, is to love yourself, is to accept yourself for who you are, not for what you have, is to be grateful for your life, and for what you have.
To honor yourself is to value yourself, your life, and the people around you. As I said before, you honor yourself with others. You celebrate life with others. You live life with others. You share your life with others. That is life. That is what life is all about. Sharing.
