Honor Yourself For Who You Are

What is life really about? Is it about love? Hope? Care? Compassion? Work? Achievements? Drive? Gain? Loss? Respect? You? Others?
What is it about? Is it about growth? Purpose? Adversity? Everything?
Is it about something bigger than us? What do you think?
To be sincere, life is more us. Life is not about us. It is about others. Because when you serve others, other people will serve you.
If you do not have the love to make others, to bring out the best in them, to help them find their lives, then no one will have the courage to be there for you.
Life is not about changing other people. You can't change them. But you can change yourself. You can change your thoughts. When you change your thoughts, you change your life.
Do not try to change others. Try really hard to change yourself. You do that by honoring your life.
When you honor yourself, you honor others. You bring light into their homes, into their lives.
Honor is light. You can't do it alone. You do it with people.
To honor yourself is to see others as they are, is to see yourself as you are, is to love yourself, is to accept yourself for who you are, not for what you have, is to be grateful for your life, and for what you have.
To honor yourself is to value yourself, your life, and the people around you. As I said before, you honor yourself with others. You celebrate life with others. You live life with others. You share your life with others. That is life. That is what life is all about. Sharing.

Be Brave

Be a source of love

“We must first have the desire and then the intention and commitment to be a source of love- this means that rather than waiting for the world to be more loving, we decide that we will be the first one to reach out and act loving- on matter what!”- Richard Carlson

Seek out the comfort and help you need

“Healing from a loss is a natural process of life- just as healing from a broken bone is too. Knowing this in the midst of pain is of great comfort. If it’s at all possible, don’t be alone. Seek out the comfort and help you need and deserve. This is not the time to be brave or strong. Instead it’s the time to reach out to others and be open to receive their kindness.”
