Why Taking Action Is The Only Way To Unstuck Yourself

“You don’t learn to walk by following rules. You learn by doing, and by falling over.”

Richard Branson

Take action! If you want to be successful in life, you must take action. Action brings results. Inaction brings nothing. If you have the courage to take action, you will learn more about your journey. You will know what you need to do to be successful. Action boosts self-belief. If you act, you will win. If you don’t act, you will fail. Action is the medication that you need to cure your fear. Actions cure fear.

We all have something that we are scared of. We all have something that we are ashamed of. With actions, the right actions, all of those things will disappear. They will leave you alone. They will go to where they belong. It is action that makes life possible. It is action that makes things happen.

“Only you have the power to change your life.”

The problem is that lots of people plan, they dream, they talk, they design, they want to be successful, but they NEVER act. They never move anything. They keep putting it off. But remember, it does not matter how fancy your plans are, if you don’t act, nothing will happen. According to Newton, “An object either remains at rest or continues to move at a constant velocity, unless acted upon by a force.” If you want your life to change, you must act.

If you want your situation to change, you must act. If you want your goals, your dreams to come true, you must act. Don’t wait for anyone to help you. Nobody will do it, but you. Only you have the power to change your life. You are your own master. You are the one driving your car. Drive it well. If you want to get the results that you want, be in charge of things yourself.

“Nothing is more expensive than a missed opportunity.”

H. Jackson Brown

Before you act, before you take action to change your life, ask yourself the following questions: “Can I do what I am about to start? Is it within my power? Do I have the knowledge required to get it done? Is it a long-term goal or a short term goal?

Once you have successfully answered the above questions, then you can now move ahead. If you don’t have clear answers to them, I strongly recommend that you do more research before you jump. Make sure you break your tasks into manageable portions. Make sure you are committed to getting it done. Make sure you stick with it no matter what. It is going to be difficult. It is not going to be easy. But it is doable. Nobody is promising you a free ride to success here. If you have read it somewhere, it is a joke! There is no quick lane to success. There is a long lane to success. Again, stop talking about success, start taking actions to change your life. You can.

6 Strategies For A Peaceful Life

We all want to live a peaceful life- a life without stress. But is that really possible? If it is possible, how can we achieve it?

The answers to the above questions are in our own hands, in our thoughts, and in our actions.

We can enjoy our lives if we can accept the fact that there is NO stress-free life. It is not possible. But what we can do is to learn how to live and manage our problems. We can do that. It is simple. To do that, let us explore the following strategies:

Spend time with the right people. We love our friends. We want to be with our friends. But the question is, “Are they the right friends?”

Be happy with what you have. If you don’t stop complaining about what is missing, you will never see what is present. Learn to let go of what is holding you back, and open your door to what will take you to the next level- your dreams.

Respect yourself and others. Respect other people. Respect yourself. Value who you are, not who you are not. The more you respect yourself, the more you will feel good about yourself. It is good for your health.

Love. A loving heart knows no hate. Love is fearless. Love can conquer all things. Where there is love, there is life. If you want to live a peaceful life, love is the way.

Laugh. Laugh at yourself everyday! It frees up your mind. Do not be too big to laugh at yourself. Marla Cilley says, “Laugh everyday, even if it’s at yourself!”

Discipline yourself. If you lack discipline, you will find it difficult to live a peaceful life. Jim Rohn said, “Every discipline, or lack of one, affects every other discipline.” In order to live a peaceful life, you must discipline yourself. Stay away from things that are against your values. Live your own life.
