Calling Yourself A Courageous Person Does Not Make You One. Here is Why

Courage is life. It is the way. If you want to experience a new life, a different life, courage is the way. You have got to think courageous thoughts. You have got to live like a courageous person. And you have got to embrace courage.

The question is, ‘Are you a courageous person?’ Because a courageous person is a person who is not afraid to say ‘yes’ to life, who is not afraid to stand up for something bigger, who is not afraid to stand up for others, even when it is not comfortable.

But calling yourself a courageous person does not make you one. Why is that? Because courage does not talk. Courage acts. Courage does not believe in words. Courage believes in actions.

You are a courageous person when you know what is going on around you, when you are not afraid to say, ‘enough is enough.’

You are a courageous person when you have the courage to leave your blood-sucking job, when you have the courage to leave your life-taking relationship.

You are a courageous person when you have the courage to ask for what you want, to take care of yourself, to believe in your life.

You are a courageous person when you have the courage to follow your heart, even when other people are not comfortable with your decision.

You are a courageous person when you have the courage to think for yourself, to be an independent thinker.

The question is, ‘Do you have the courage to question what you do not understand?’

Does Your Work Make Sense To You?

Are you doing what you love? If you are not, what are you going to do to make it better?

Are you doing something about it? If you do not know where to start, you can start with these questions:

Do I love my job? If yes, keep doing it. If not, then do something about it.

Does my job make me happy? If you are happy with your job, congratulations! Buf if you are not happy, maybe you need to change your thoughts about your job.

Does my job mean anything to me? If your job is not adding anything to your life, then it is taking away from it.

Am I proud of where I work? If you are not proud of where you work, then it is not the right fit for you. You shouldn’t be there.

Before you take a leap of faith, remember, no job is perfect.
