Quotes On How To Defeat Your Stress

No one is bigger than stress. No one is smarter than stress. But you can do something about it.

To manage your stress, don’t do too much. Control what you can control. Do not take on what you cannot do. And never forget who you are.

Be grateful for what God has done for you. Do not worry about what you don’t have.

Keep your hope alive. Because ‘God has a better life in store. A life full of laughter, contentment, provision, peace, and joy.’

‘People who regularly get upset over small things are easily frustrated and highly stressed. People who shrug those things off are much happier.’ Do not worry about little things. What God has for you is bigger than what you are trying to keep.

Before you do anything, always remember that you are not alone, that God is with you. ‘Anytime we don’t keep God first, life gets messy and we get stressed out.’

Submit your life to God. Submit your stress to God. Because God knows you more than you know yourself. ‘The quickest way to peace is learning to submit every decision in your life to God.’

Because you can’t do all things on your own. ‘With God’s help, we can move from dependence on self to dependence on God.’

Stress happens when we are not being honest with ourselves. ‘Most of the things we are stress about aren’t real dangers- they’re perceived dangers.’ You can invite peace into your life by focusing on what is possible, what you have the power to do.

Do your part. Do not leave everything for God. God is your partner. To get what you want, to manage your stress, trust God, your Father. ‘Our part is to trust God and His part is to provide the answer we need.’

Don’t panic. You are not going to get anything done if you do not put yourself together. Do not react to what you are going through. Instead, respond to what is right in front of you.

‘Instead of reacting in a panic, wandering how you are ever going to make it through, you can choose to act in confidence.’

But ‘It would have all been different if she had made one simple decision: I’m going to make the exchange.’

Exchange your stress for peace. That is what you need right now. Because ‘Stress is something that happens in our lives- and many times- through no fault of our own.’

‘In order to exchange your stress for His peace, it is important that you stop getting upset about little things that you can’t control.’

In Christ, it’s possible to live in God’s rest and find relief from the demands of stress and worry.’

‘It’s easy to get so preoccupied with our problems that we forget the promises of God.’

That is who we are. We can’t stop thinking about what we are going through. We try to do too much.

The question is, ‘Whose pace are you moving at? Are you keeping the pace God has set for you or someone else’s?

You will do well when you follow your own path, when you take one step at a time. Because ‘every step you take is important, but perhaps the most important step is the first one.’

If you want to win, do not be afraid to take the first step. Do not focus on what you cannot do. Focus on how you will get a few important things done.

‘If focusing on what is going wrong is a cause of stress, naturally a curse for stress is to focus on what is right.’ When you focus on what is right, you get what is right.

‘Rather than dwell on all that is wrong, we can choose to dwell on all that is going right!’

‘The next time you feel your peace slipping away and your stress picking up stream, take a moment to stop and remember the benefits you’ve been given as a child of God.’

To de-stress yourself, do not take on too many things at the same time. Because ‘having too many choices can negatively affect us and actually bring us a tremendous amount of unnecessary stress.’

‘If we allow ourselves to get distracted by the dizzying array of modern options, we can easily fall into the stress trap.’

‘Anytime there is a decision to be made, we can go to God and ask for His guidance and direction.’

Do not rush it. ‘Good decisions are rarely made in a rush.’ Believe in what you are doing. Success is not about quantity. It is about quality.

‘Confidence will carry you forward-past doubt, around indecision, and over uncertainty.’

‘No matter how big or small the decision you are facing, you can be at peace, knowing that you are not expected to make that decision on your own.’

Don’t do it on your own. Submit everything to God. Follow God. Do not focus on what others are doing. Focus on where God is taking you. ‘The more you compare your life to those around you, the less you’ll enjoy the life God has given you.’

The only thing you can do to de-stress yourself is to do what you can do. ‘Any time we try to do something that God has not given us an ability to do, we are inviting stress into our lives.’

You can invite peace into your life by telling yourself positive things. Because words are powerful. ‘Words can lift us into ecstacy or they can cause some of the worst emotional pain we can feel as humans.’

You are better than that. Don’t feed your mind with negative things. ‘Instead of feeding ourselves a steady diet of bad news, we should choose to read, watch, and talk about good things.’

You can take care of your stress by telling yourself what you need to hear, by being real to yourself. ‘It is quite possible to avoid a lot of stress by just making an effort to not talk unless you have something worthy of being said.’

Say what you really want to hear. If you do not want to experience something, then don’t support it. The choice is yours.

We can choose to be joyful… we can choose to be content… we can choose to love life regardless of the circumstances around us.’

‘You can choose to be in control, instead of letting your circumstances control you.’

You are not alone. You are not walking alone. God knows what you are going through in your life. ‘God knows what you’re going through, and if you’ll trust Him. He will restore your joy.’

If you’ll trust God, He will help you. ‘With God’s help, we can attack stress instead of sitting back, waiting for it to attack us.’

‘If we’re being led by God’s Spirit, saying yes when He says yes and no when He says no, we should be to accomplish what He gives us to do and walk in peace.’

‘The right mindset and the right attitude can completely turn a situation around.’

‘We sometimes get so focused on our daily problems that we lose sight of God’s divine purpose.’

‘Obsession with self is a breeding ground for stress, pressure, and anxiety.’

‘Love is not just a feeling or a theory; it’s a decision we make and an action we take.’

‘Regardless of the pain, the pressure, the anxiety, or the stress you’ve been living with, God wants to give you a brand-new start.’

When you are in trouble, remember that ‘Jesus is not only with you, but He is also for you.’

If God is for you, no one can touch you.

As always, ‘you are more, not less!

Quotes On How To Face Your Life

‘If you want to run, don’t run away from things, run toward them.’- Joyce Meyer

Your life is about you. You can have a great life. Do not let anything stop you from living your life.

Not even fear. Not even you. And not even what you do not know – the unknown.

According to Joyce Meyer, ‘There is one right fear that we should have, and that is the reverential fear of God.’ Because ‘if God teaches us to do or not to do a thing, we should immediately assume that He is right and joyfully do as He have commanded.’ Before you do anything, always make sure you are not going against God. Because God knows what is good for you.

‘The fear of sin will hold us in sinful behavior, while focusing on Jesus will lift us out of it.’ No one is perfect. God is not far from you. He is with you. Again, before you go into anything, always put God first. When you put God first, you are more likely to stay clean

But do not give in to sin. You will be tempted to do things that are not in line with your values. Don’t do them. Pray. Have faith. Have Hope. Do not lose hope. Because ‘Hope is one of the most powerful forces on Earth. As long as you have hope, the door is open for change.’

Hope makes things better. ‘We often find that the answers to complicated problems are simple.’ That is why we shouldn’t make things difficult for ourselves.

Because ‘we are all capable of great things if we will live courageously.’ Yes, we are. Do not give in to fear. ‘The answer to fear is always the same: ‘Be strong and courageous, for God is with you.’

When you are in trouble, always remember, ‘God is with you. God is not against you.’

For God is with you, not against you. When people are with you, you are in trouble. But when God is with you, you are with your Father.

‘God is looking for people who are available, not necessarily those who are able.’ God wants you to be avalaible, not able.

When you are avalaible, failure means nothing. Failure means learning. Failure means growth. It is okay to fail at something. ‘We are not failures just because we fail at something. Nobody is a failure until they quit trying.’

God, your Father, is with you. No matter what is going on in your life, God is testing you. God wants to see how tough you are.

‘If you want more courage, then spend time with people who are courageous and stop spending excessive time with fearful, defeated people.’

That is perfect! Courageous people don’t play games. They are serious about what they do. And courageous people don’t bring other people down. They lift them up.

They love what they do. And they love other people. ‘The unconditional love of God is the cure for everything that ails us.’ God’s love for you is not based on anything. God’s love is real, not fake.

‘Our worth is in Christ, not in what other people think of us.’ Spend your time with God, not with people. When you spend time with God, are in a better place.

You don’t have to even question what God is doing in your life. You are okay to question people, not God.

Do not doubt God. ‘You can doubt your doubts instead of believing them!’ If you do not doubt your doubts, they will take over your life. You have got to doubt your doubts. Because they are not real. They are trying to keep you small. If you don’t break out, you will remain tiny.

You have got to follow your path. Because you are unique. You are not like other people. You are just you. And that is good enough for you. ‘God has created us as unique individuals, and He does not lead all of us in the same way.’

God knows why. If you want to live your life, to get to know God, you have got to follow your path. ‘Don’t throw away your dreams in a moment of discouragement or weariness. Keep your eyes on the prize!’

When things are tough, when you are not doing well, when money is not enough in the bank, when people say bad things to you, when people count you out, do not ‘throw away your dreams.’

Because your dreams matter to God. He puts your dreams before you. And you must go after them.

Do not go back. Do not let things make you look stupid. Your dreams matter. Instead of losing your heart, ‘pressing forward is much better than going back.’

Keep dreaming. Never stop dreaming. Because ‘if we are only able to believe what we see with our natural eyes, we lack true vision and have no ability to dream.’

Your dream is important. ‘We can always overcome fear with faith.’ When fear is before you, work it. Because fear is not real. It is just trying to keep you where you are. Don’t settle for less. Keep going.

Yes, ‘we may not always get what we want, but God will always provide what we need.’ That is okay. Because we can’t control everything. Be happy with what you have. And God will lift you up.

‘It is only when we are faithful in little things that God can eventually make us rulers over much.’ Do you know why? Because God cares a lot about things that people don’t care about.

But ‘God wants us to trust Him to lead and guide us and keep us safe, rather than us attempting to control circumstances and people.’ The question is, ‘Do you really trust God?’

‘Waiting for God to do what God can do is always the most difficult part of trust.’ That is because God takes His time to make things happen. God doesn’t do things when we really want them to happen.

But if you are patient with Him, if you can wait for God to turn your life around, it is the best thing to do.

When you do that, ‘you can be free from the fear of not being in control if you will learn to trust God to be in control.’ He is in control. If you want success, do your part. And God will do His part.

But do not try to do things alone. Because ‘we are created for healthy connections, and there is always a part of us that craves it.’ But you have got to wait. ‘God’s healing in our lives is not an instantaneous thing; it is a process, but it is definitely avalaible to all who will receive it by faith.’

‘No matter who rejects us, God accepts us. And that is enough to enable us to be successful in life.’ God’s approval is the best ever! Do not worry about what other people are saying about you.

You are good enough for God. And God loves you the way you are. Have confidence in God. ‘A lack of confidence equals a lack of revelation concerning who you are in Christ.’ Do not let that happen. Because you deserve more than what you are getting right now. Do not let that stop you from believing in God, your Father.

‘If God wants us to do a thing, we can be assured that He will provide everything we need for the task.’

‘The only way to know if we can ever do a thing is to try to do it and see. Step out and find out!’

Doing is life. Do not reject what you do not know. Before you say ‘no’ to anything, try it and see what happens.

‘We can see stepping out in faith as exciting or frightening; the choice is ours.’ If stepping out has been a problem for you, you can start small. Take your own baby steps. It is better than standing still.

Do not stand still. Life is not over. And do not make it over. ‘It isn’t over until it’s over, and it’s not over yet.’

It is not over because God is not done with you yet. God is at work. And to receive what God has for you, you have got to be alive. Have a golden heart. Be there for others, not just for yourself. ”A pure heart is much more important to the Lord than a perfect record of good works.’

God cares about who you are, not what you have. God is after your heart, not your possessions.

God is for you. He has not rejected you yet. People stay way from failure. It is because people don’t want to feel any pain. Because ‘the pain of rejection is intense, and most of us will do just about anything to avoid it.’

Don’t reject rejections. They make you stronger, not weaker. Do not worry about what other people think. Because ‘being excessively concerned about what others think is a total waste of time because we cannot completely control what they think anyway.’

When it comes to your life, believe in God. Believe that God is for you, not against you. Don’t live your life in fear. Because ‘fear always shows up in a negative way, but faith is always positive.’

Fear means average. But faith is life. If you want to move ahead in your life, you have got to follow your faith, not your fears.

‘We are all headed somewhere all of the time, so let’s look forward to the future with happy anticipation instead of tormenting fear.’

‘If we seek to know things, we may never know God as we stand, but if we seek to know Him, we can be assured that He will show us everything we need to know at the exact right time.’

Trust that God will show you the right path forward. And He will. He is not standing in your way. ‘The thing that stands between where we are and where we want to be is always doing the thing we don’t want to do.’

That is why you should focus on what is important to you. Becuse ‘what we focus on is what looms the largest in our lives; therefore, we should fix our focus on things that increase our joy, not on things that steal it.’

”God never allows more to come on us than we can bear, and He always provides a way out if we trust Him.’

‘Trust doesn’t have to know why.’ But God knows why you aare here. He knows why you are doing what you are doing. And God knows where you are going to be in the future.

God knows you, but people don’t. Know God, not people. Because ‘getting to know people intimately takes time, understanding, and a willingness to be deeply honest.’

But ‘if we want people to be interested in us, then we must learn to be interesting.’

‘True closeness can only be experienced when we respect one another’s differences.’ Finally, God has a lot in store for you. Do not give in to fear. If you want to be successful in your life, you must face your fears.

‘Each fear that you confront becomes a small victory for you and it prepares you to face the next one.’ Never give up. ‘When you fall, get up and keep going!’
