How To Get To “A Place Of Kindness And Caring”

There is no way to self-improvement and strength but by loving and celebrating yourself, your life, your accomplishments in the present moment.

Stop complaining. stop fighting for what is not yours. You are not perfect. Instead of trying to be perfect, why not focus on improving your life. If you can do that for yourself, it will help you a lot. It will bring peace and harmony into your life.

Epictectus once said, “If you wish to improve yourself, be content to be seen as ignorant or clueless about some things.”

What you know is your power. So do not worry about what you do not know. But it does not mean you should ignore it. But do not let it bother you.

Remember that life is not going to give you everything. So do not worry about what is not there. You have a lot going well for you. Focus on them. Reflect on them. Celebrate them. Sharon Salzberg says, “When you recognize and reflect on even one good thing about yourself, you are building a bridge to a place of kindness and caring.” She is right.

If you want to enjoy your life, if you want to make peace with your inner self, you must learn how to reflect on what is going well for you. When you do that, you will have more to celebrate.

What Does Love Look like?

“What does love look like?”

“What does love look like? It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has the eyes to see the misery and want. it has the eyes to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. That is what love looks like.” Augustine of Hippo

Love is more than a kiss. Love is more than you. Love is more than just buying material things to make people happy. Love is real. Love is caring. When you are in love, when you love your fellow brothers and sisters, you love God. When you help others, you help yourself. When you love other people, you love yourself. Because love is not greedy. Love is sharing.
