‘When you know your why, when you are committed to sharing your gifts authentically and serving others, you will naturally start changing other people’s lives.’– Gezim Gashi

‘Everything we do is a step towards our best self or away from it, toward some other possible version of ourselves.’- Gezim Gashi

In your life, whatever you do, know why you are doing it. Know why you are in the game. Why is that? Because you are not doing it for yourself. You are doing it for others.

We are not alive to serve ourselves. We are here to serve other people, to make a difference in the world.

You are not pursuing your dream to make a living. You are pursuing your dream to make a life.

If you want to make a living, focus on yourself. But if you want to make a life, to make a difference in the world, focus on other people. Help other people get what they are looking for. And they will help you get what you are looking for.

Don’t just do something. Before you play, know your why. Know why you are doing what you are doing. Don’t do something because other people are doing it. Don’t do something because it is popular. Do something because it makes sense to you.

Whatever it is that you are interested in, do it with love. Focus on it. We grow when we focus on what we are doing. We get stuck when we are distracted.

When we know what we are doing, when we know where we are going, when we have a clear vision, we are setting ourselves up for success. We are creating new paths for ourselves. And for other people.

When we know what we are doing, life is more likely than not to reward us with success. Remember, life rewards doers, not talkers.

If you want life to reward you with opportunities, then you have got to focus on what you are doing. If not, then don’t blame other people for your actions. Don’t blame your life for your actions. Blame yourself for not having the courage to do what is right for you.
