What It Means To Take Care Of Yourself

Self-care is not a crime. You do not have to apologize for taking care of yourself, for taking care of your life. You do not have to. All you need to do is to take more care of yourself. Dot it for you. Do it for your future self.

The question is, ‘Do you have the spine to take care of yourself? Do you have the courage to do what is good for you? Do you have the courage to be you, no matter where you are? Do you have the courage to think your own thoughts, negative or positive? Do you feel comfortable when you are with yourself, when you are alone?

‘Self-care is saying ‘yes’ to yourself, to your life, not matter what life throws at you.’

If you are not taking care of yourself, maybe you are doing the opposite. You know what that is, right?

Self-care is not hard to do. Self-care is looking after your mind, your soul, and your body. It means being there for yourself. It means being there for your dreams, for your health, for what is important to you.

Self-care is not about isolation. Self-care is about connecting with other people. Self-care is about your mind, your soul, and your body, not about isolation. Isolation cannot heal a broken heart.

Self-care is when you have the courage to look at yourself in the mirror, to reflect on what you are doing, why you are doing it, what is not working, why you are where you are, who is in charge of your life, without beating yourself to the ground.

Self-care is having the courage to practice love, to treat people as they want to be treated, to live your life in your own way, to do what is good for you, to choose love over hate, to choose positive thoughts over negative ones, to choose positive friends over negative ones, to choose you, to choose self-love over self-pity, to choose meaningful work over meaningless work, to choose life over death, to choose growth over stagnation, to choose questions over answers.

Choose self-care over self-pity. Take care of yourself. If you are not doing it, if you are afraid of what other people are going to say about you, you are not taking care of yourself. You are just feeding other people’s opinions. You are not taking care of yourself. To take care of yourself, you must be there for yourself.

Your Actions Are A Witness To The People In Your Life

Doing is better than talking. People don’t follow talk; they follow actions. They celebrate results. If people are not celebrating you, it is because you are not getting results. You are not doing what you say you are going to do. You are not living your life. You are not meeting your own expectations. And that is a problem.

‘If people are not celebrating you, it is because you are not getting results.’

It is a problem. Why is that? Because people are waiting for you to do well in your life. People are watching you. Some are happy for you to do well in your life. Others are just moving on. They care about you, but they are tired of hearing the same thing. They are tired of waiting. Remember, waiting is good. Too much is not good. And people don’t like to wait for nothing. They like to wait for something.

If things are stuck, talk to people who can help you. If you need help, reach out to people who can help you. Reach out to people who love you, who want you to succeed in your life. Reach out to people who make you smile, who are happy for you, who are not against you.

‘When it comes to building healthy relationships, trust is everything.’

When you are trying to get your life together, when you are doing things that you have not done before in your life, you do not need nagative people around you. You don’t need negative people around your dreams. If you do, you are putting your dreams at risk. Do not do that! It is dangerous!

Trust them. Trust those who are for you, who want you to succeed. But know yourself. Because if you do not trust them, they won’t trust you. Remember, trust is the foundation of all great things. If you want to change your life, start with trust. Talk to people who are in interested in your growth. Talk to them. They are not babies. Do not bottle feed your people. They are stronger than that. They can handle whatever you tell them.

But why is it important to speak out, especially when things are not going well? Because you never know where your help is going to come from. You never know who has the power to help you. That is why you should never hide your pain.

If you want people to help you, you must first help yourself. Do we have a deal?
