No one is going to give you permission to change your life. No one is going to give you permission to live your life, the live you really want to live. No one is going to give you permission to chase your dreams.
If you really want to do something, to get something that truly matters to you, you must take it yourself. Because no one is going to give it to you. No one is going to make you who you are not. No one is going to make you do more than your thoughts, and no one is going to make you achieve more than how you see yourself.
You will never get permission to live your life if you do not have the courage to take it yourself. You have got to be aware of where you are. You have got to give yourself permission to live your life, to enjoy your work, to choose your path.
Permission is free. You have it. So why are you not using it? Why are you waiting for other people to give you permission to live your life? Why?
Look, if you are still waiting for people to give you permission to live your life, you are wasting your time. You are not living your life. You are not making a difference. You are wasting your time. You are wasting your life. Because when you waste your time, you waste your life.
Don’t do that to yourself. Yes, you might not have permission to do everything in life. But you have permission to love yourself. You have permission to live your life. You have permission to love yourself, to love other people. You have permission to think for yourself. You have permission to take action, to do what you want to do for yourself. You have permission to do what matters to you. You have permission to start your dreams, to be imperfect. You have permission to beat resistance, to defeat fear. You have it. But you are not using it. You are still waiting.
If you want to change your world, stop waiting for the right time, for the right person to come into your life. Stop waiting for tomorrow. Because tomorrow will never come. Because tomorrow has its own problems. You have permission to start trusting yourself. You have permission to start your journey before you are ready. And you can.
And you must. Give yourself what you want. Do not wait for others to make you who want to be. Don’t wait for others to give permission to start your life. Once you give yourself permission to live your life, you start to see yourself differently. You start to see what you haven’t seen before in your life.
Even if you don’t know what you want, give yourself permission to start with what you have. Stop waiting. Stop thinking. Because thinking alone is not going to do your life for you. The only thing that has the power to change your life is when you give yourself permission to be you, the real you.
The question is, ‘Will you give yourself permission to live your life?’
