Are You Ready To Face Your Reality?

Your reality is your reality. Your reality is not my reality. And my reality is not your reality. It is subjective. It is what you say it is.

Not getting what you want is exactly what you need.‘- Gina Mollicone- Long

If you want to know more about your world, your reality, you must be honest with yourself.

If you are ready to explore your world, if you are ready to know more about yourself, about why you do what you do, it is going to be a long journey.

Why not start with these eight ways?

When you are down, don’t stay down.

President Obama was right when he said, ‘The only thing that is the end of the world is the end of the world. And so, you get knocked down, you get up, brush yourself off, and you get back to work.’ Yes, the only thing that is really the end of the world is the end of the world. When you are down, when you fail at something, don’t let it define you.

Unstuck yourself.

The only thing that can stuck you is you. You can unstuck yourself. Whatever you are going through in your life, according to Obama, is not the end of the world. The only thing that is the end of the world is when you don’t get back up. Remember, failure is not a problem, but not trying again is.

Choose happiness.

Nothing in life is perfect. To make yourself happy, you must choose happiness. Do not focus on what is going in your life. Instead of focusing on what you are not good at, why not enjoy what you are good at? According to Gina Mollicone- Long, ‘Circumstances don’t make you happy or unhappy, but your choices do.’ If you are not happy, pay attention to your thoughts. Do not carry negative thoughts around. They are too heavy for you. If you want to enjoy your life, you must drop negative thoughts.

Focus on solutions, not problems.

According to Gina Mollicone- Long, ‘When we focus on problems, we send a signal to the Universe that we want more problems.’ You have many things to celebrate in your life. A problem is not one them. If you want more solutions, you must focus on solutions. Do not forget that you get what you think about. Life is better when we focus on solutions. Yes, you can’t stop things from happening. When they do, focus on how you are going to make things better.

How To Be The Best You Can Be

You can’t recreate the world, but you can recreate your own self. You can’t control everything, but you can take care of your life.

You can be the best you can be in your life. To do that, remember, life is not an event. It is more than that. Life is a process. Guess what? Process takes time.

4 Ways to be the best you can be.

Help people be their best.

According to Dave Gordin, ‘Give all you can. Help people be their best. You will be rewarded in return.’ He is right. If you want to get better at what you do, the fastest way to get there is to help another person get better. Remember, you are the only person responsible for your life. If you do not do it for yourself, no one will.

Embrace what you do not know.

Sharon Blackie writes, ‘Embrace mystery. don’t be afraid of what you don’t know.’ Try to know what you don’t know. If you don’t know something, it is an opportunity for you to explore the world around you. If you don’t face it, you will never know it.

Push yourself

In the words of Jennifer Cohen, ‘If you want that bigger, better life, push yourself off the wall you’ve been sitting on for far too long and practice habits that will lead you to a bold identity.’ We get better when we challenge ourselves, when we have the courage to get out of our comfort zones. That is what it takes to grow. It is not an easy thing to do. But if you do not challenge yourself, if you do not push yourself out of your comfort zone, you will never grow.

Take accountability for your where you are going.

If you do not take charge of your growth, who do you think is going to do it for you? No one. If you are waiting for people to lead you, you will never arrive. According to Dave Gordin, ‘If you are willing to do the work and commit to taking accountability for your future, you will achieve the lasting success you want.’ The question is, ‘Are you willing to do the work? Are you willing to take charge of your future?’ If you are, then success is likely to happen.
