If you want others to share your pain with you, you must share your tears with them. It is okay to cry. It heals. It is not what you do alone; it is what you do with others.
Stop hiding your tears. According to Regina Brett, “We need to stop hiding our tears and actually share them. It takes a strong person to cry. It takes a stronger person to let others see those tears. We need to be tough enough to be tender, no matter who is watching.”
No matter where you are, no matter who is watching, do not be scared to cry. Stop hiding your tears. It is okay to cry.
What does it really mean to live an abundant life? Is it about you? Is it about how you live your life? What is it really about?
Living an abundant life is about you. It is about how you live your life. It is not about what you have; it is about the feelings you get from what you have. It is not about money; “it’s how you think about money. It’s about how you behave with money.” It is about how you treat yourself. It is about how you treat what you have. It is about how you do your work, not about what you do. It is about love, self-love. Because it is not possible to live an abundant life if you don’t love yourself, if you don’t love who you are.
Living an abundant life is more than material possessions. Regina Brett says, “Living an abundant life doesn’t mean winning the lottery, marrying rich, or getting a raise. It starts with a raise in consciousness and spread from there. It starts with knowing that what you want isn’t always what you need, and often isn’t even what you truly want. It starts with making smart choices that lead to long-term gratification.” If you want to live a great life, you must start with “making smart” decisions.
