“Champions Keep Playing Until They Get It Right.”

Success in anything is a marathon, not a sprint. If you want to be successful, you must prepare yourself to stay in the game until you reach your finish line. Success is not a sprint. Success is a marathon.

Are you ready for a marathon or a sprint? It is up to you.

Billie Jean King said, “Champions keep playing until they get it right.” That is right! If you want to succeed in life, you MUST prepare to stay in the game until you finish.

Whatever you are doing right now, you must be patient. Success does not happen overnight. You will succeed if you prepare to finish what you start.

Bernard Berenson said, “Consistency requires you to be as ignorant today as you were a year ago.” That is true. Because champions are learners. They don’t see themselves as experts.

If you want to be a champion, you must think like a champion. You must work like a champion. You must live like a champion. You must learn like a champion. Champions don’t quit.

Even when the going gets really though, champions love it. They love to challenge themselves. If you want to be a champion, embrace failures, embrace challenges. Don’t quit!

Champions never quit. No matter how tough and hard, don’t quit. If you quit, you are not a winner, and you never will be. But if you hang in there, you are a winner, and you always will be a winner.

“No One Can Be A Failure If He Thinks He’s A Success.”

You are who you think you are. If you think you are a loser, you are. If you think you are failure, you are. If you think you are a winner, you are. If you think you are a victor, you are. If you think you are a victim, you are. If you think you are a success, you are.

How do you see yourself? What are you thinking about? Are you always thinking about the mistakes you made yesterday?

Remember, you will become what you let into your mind. You will become what you think about every day. Everything starts in your mind. Your mind is the most powerful weapon you have. Use it wisely. If you keep allowing negative thoughts into your mind, all you will see in yourself are negative things-the things you didn’t do well, the mistakes that you have made in life, the people who have done terrible things to you.

But if you keep allowing positive things into your mind, you will always see positive things in yourself and others. Remember, positive things attract other positive things. If you are a positive person, a person who sees light in other people, you will continue to attract more positive things into your life.

Robert W. Service said, “No one can be a failure if he thinks he’s a success; if he thinks he is a winner, then he is.” You will become what you think about. Earle Nightingale once said, “Whatever we plant in our subconscious mind and nourish with repetition and emotion will one day become a reality.”

If you want to live a positive life, nourish positive thoughts. If you want to live a negative life, keep nourishing negative thoughts.

“A Promise Made Is A Debt Unpaid.”

Integrity is promise made promise kept. If you say one thing and do another, you have broken your promise.

If you want to live a great life, always do what you say you will do. People will trust you. People will want to be with you. People will always tell you their secrets. People will nominate you for a leadership position, because they know you will not let them down.

Robert W. Service said, “A promise made is a debt unpaid.” There is respect in doing what you say you will do. There is trust in doing what you say you will do. Don’t promise A, and do B. People will not trust you. Once you lose your trust, you can’t really do anything of value on your own. You need people to help you succeed. No one succeeds alone.

“Wall your talk.” Do what you say you will do, and people will be ready to help you do it.

“Create Your Future From Your Future”

Where you are right now is as a result of what you did yesterday. Where you will be tomorrow will come from what you are doing right now.

Most people try to create their future from what happened to them yesterday. You can only create your future from what you are doing right now. Your future depends on today, not yesterday.

The question is, What are you doing right now? How are you shaping your future? Are you using your time wisely? Are you meeting with the right people? Are you taking the right courses? Are you challenging yourself? Are you doing the same thing over and over again?

You will reap what you sow. You will reap what you plant. If you plant great seeds, you will reap great fruits. If you plant bad seeds, you will reap bad fruits.

Spend your time wisely. That means, do the most important things first. Do the last things last. Don’t try to do what you like to do. Do what will make you a better person. Do things that will make you a better father, brother, sister, friend, neighbor, student.

Don’t live in the past. Live in the moment. Don’t try to create your destiny from your mistakes, weaknesses, or failures. Create your future from the things you are doing right now. Werner Erhard said, “Create your future from your not from your past.” It is okay to think about the mistakes we made yesterday, but it not okay to live in the past. The more you do that, the more you will miss the opportunity to move forward in your life.

If you want to move forward, if you want to create a great future, a future that is worth celebrating, you must create it from the future. You must create it from what you are doing today, not from what you did yesterday.
