Denis Waitley said, “Don’t dwell on what went wrong. Instead, focus on what to do next. Spend your energies on moving forward toward finding the answer.”
That is what a lot of people are not doing. When something goes wrong in their lives, instead of finding solutions to what went wrong, they will spend their entire time asking “why me.” To think like that is to make things worse, not better.
If you make mistakes, don’t dwell on it. Find out how you are going to make it better. Find out how you are going to prevent it from happening again in the future. If you do that, you will have the energy to continue your work. But if you get stuck with what went wrong, you will be frustrated.
Everything starts with you. Change starts with you. Life starts with you. If you want to change the world, it starts with you. Change yourself first before changing the world. If you can’t change yourself, how can you change someone else?
Before you take care of people, you must first take care yourself. If you want to please people, you must first please yourself. That is the only way to a sustainable growth.
When you grow, the people around you will grow. But if you don’t grow, if you don’t make any move to change your life, nobody will do it for you. It starts with you. If you lead people, you are always the one to take the first big step. If you don’t take it, nobody will do it for you.
If you want to change your life, you are the only one who can do that. Don’t wait for no one to do it for you. It starts with you. Take the bold step, and your life will change forever.
