Do More Of What Makes You Happy

“Happiness always looks small while you hold it in your hands, but let it go, and you learn at once how big and precious it is.”– Maxim Gorky

You want to be happy, right? Do you think you can find it? If you think so, where do you think you can find it? Where? Can you measure happiness? Is it measurable? Maybe, maybe not.

You can find happiness if you do the right things. Happiness is everywhere. If you really care about your happiness, check your actions, check your relationships, check your work, and check yourself. Are they making you happy, or are they hurting you? If they make you happy, embrace them. But if they are hurting you, stay away. To put simply, do more of what makes you happy. And do less of what hurts you.

Your happiness is in your own hands. Do not neglect it. We lose whatever we neglect. If you want to be happier, do not neglect what makes you happy. According to Andre Maurois, ” When one is already happy it is important not to lose the virtues which have produced happiness.” Whatever it is that makes you happy, keep it. Don’t let it go. Because your happiness is in your own hands. Don’t you think so?

Don’t Let Your Mistakes Define Who You Are

If you are not making mistakes in your life, it is time to check what you are doing. If you want to grow, you must be comfortable with mistakes. Yes, mistakes. That is how we grow. That is how we learn.

People don’t grow because they don’t want to make mistakes. If you are one of them, it is time to stop thinking like that. Ask yourself: Why am I afraid of mistakes?

Nobody wants to hear anything about mistakes. But, look, if we don’t make mistakes, if we are afraid of making mistakes, how can we learn new things? Impossible.

“It is not our mistakes that define who we are; it is how we recover from those mistakes.”

Bo Bennett

The only way forward is through mistakes. If you want to grow, embrace the art of making mistakes. Don’t let your mistakes define the real you, let your mistakes be your way forward. Don’t let it stop you from doing what you were created to do.

“You are not your mistakes. You are you.”

Don’t let your mistakes turn you into a different human being. You are who you are. You are not your mistakes. Your mistakes are not you. You make mistakes, mistakes don’t make you. Why worry?

Instead of worrying about your mistakes, use them to create a better you. As I said before, you are not your mistakes. You are you. You are a learner. Stop thinking about it!
