How To Build The Life You Want

In the words of Maulana Wahiduddin Khan, ‘Obstacles present no hindrance, for they open new avenues of intellectual advance.’

When you face a problem, what do you? Do you give up? Do you just say, ‘I am done. I can’t do it?’

Or do you try to figure things out? This is better. It is better to face what is in front of us than to leave it and just walk away.

Yes, you can walk away if it is not what you are really interested in, or what you want to do with your life.

‘You never build the life you want by getting lost in things you don’t want.’- Dan Rockwell

Because staying with what is not working is a waste of time.

If something is not going to make you a better human being, let it go. If you are not enjoying what you are doing, why do it?

Do not waste your time. Whatever it is that is NOT making you happy, that is stressing you, that is not adding anything to your life, if possible, let it go.

‘You can get what you want if you are willing to let go of what you do not want.’

Let it go. Because you need more time to do other important things, to live a better life, and to do a better work.

Because you can’t win by playing not to lose. You can’t win by not taking more risks. You can’t get what you want by keeping what you have. Because life is about investment.

To get more, you must invest more. You must do more. Learn more. And love more. The question is, will you do it? Do you have the courage to face what is right in front of you?

The Power Of Being Present

If you want to move forward, you must embrace your present. Why? Why does it really matters?

In the words of Dan Pontefract, ‘Appying new behaviors (rather than managing time) puts you in charge of your time.’

Your capacity is better understood; staying constant versus becoming overloaded.’

Stress level can be reduced while energy levels could potentially increase.’

‘Family and personal time will improve.’

Your overall morale and engagement at work will be better.’
