How Is Life Treating You?

If life is not treating you well. if you are not getting the right results, if you are always beating yourself up, you have got to look into what is going on in your life.

Things are not just happening. They are happening for reasons. They are calling you to pay attention to what is going on, to what is important to you. But we are too busy to listen. We are after work. We are always driving, always moving.

Yes, you can drive yourself to do more, to create more, to live more, and to become more. But you can’t succeed in your own life if you do not have time for yourself.

No one succeeds like that. Life is not really about speed. Life is about care. It is about attention. It is about enjoying what you have, where you are, and what you are doing.

Life is more than speed. If you do not know who you are, for sure, speed is not going to matter when you are done pursuing other people’s dreams.

Speed matters when you are running your own race, when you are taking your time to master what you are doing, when you are not interested in who is behind you or who is ahead of you.

Whatever it is you are tolerating right now, you can change it. Whatever it is you are struggling with right now, this moment, you can take action to change it. Do not wait for another day.

Because the more you tolerate things, especially negative things, the worse they get.

If you want to make things better, no matter what they are, take big actions to change them. You can do it. Don’t wait anymore. Because now is your best time. Why not take it?

Be Patient

Yes, be patient. No matter what is going on in your life, be patient. Do not rush into anything.

If you do not know what you are doing, speed doesn’t matter. If you do not know where you are going, speed doesn’t matter.

If you want to see greatness in your life, you have got to be patient.

Great things don’t happen overnight. You can’t become an expert overnight.

According to Bill hybels, ‘Be patient. Take small steps- and avoid having to take awkward steps back because you jumped in too soon.’

Rushing into something, no matter how urgent, is not a good idea. In fact, it is a terrible idea!
