Give up on being perfect. Here is why:

If you want to become the person you were created to be, you must give up on being perfect.

What perfection requires is a kind of lockstep. Look at that word; imagine it in your mind’s eye, the focused match of the fearful, the physical opposite of the skip and the jump. Doesn’t it sound like something to avoid at all costs?’

Successful People Are Good At These Things

Success is more than just having money. Success is not about what you have. It is about who you are. It is about what you do. And it is about how you do what you do.

If you want to be successful, take charge of your life. Take full responsibility for your life, for your work, and for your relationships. Do not wait for others to take the lead. You take the lead. You don’t have to be perfect, but just take the lead. You will get better as you go.

Successful people are leaders. They know when to take the lead. They know when to back off. And they know when to put other people in charge of the journey.

Successful people are good at forgiving other people. They know that no one is perfect. They know that mistakes are going to happen.

Successful people are great team players. They don’t claim to know everything. Because of that, they always surround themselves with people who are smarter than them. Because they want to learn.

Successful people love networking. They love to hang out with the right people. They know where to look for other successful people. So if you want to be successful, always be around great people.
