You Can Do Nothing To Change The Past

“You can do nothing to change the past, and the future will never come exactly as you plan or hope for.”– Dan Millmann

Are you trying to change your past? Are you trying to change what you cannot change? Change is scary. Change is what we need to grow. Don’t try to change what you cannot change. Your past is gone. Don’t worry about it. The only thing you can do with your past is to learn from it. Yes, learn from it.

You can’t recover your past, but you can discover your future. But you can’t discover your future if you keep living in the past. You can’t discover your future if you continue to waste your time trying to change what you cannot change. The best thing to do for yourself is to focus on what is happening in the moment. Don’t live in the past. Live in the present. According to Agatha Christie, “One doesn’t recognize the really important moments in one’s life until it’s too late.” Live your life in the moment, but don’t ignore the future. Now matters. The future matters, too.

“You can’t recover your past, but you can discover your future.”

Enjoying Your Life

“Turning your now into total fulfillment is the touchstone of effective living, and virtually all self-defeating behaviors are efforts at living in a moment other than the current one.”- Wayne W. Dyer

Are you enjoying your life? If yes, continue. But if no, why not?

Enjoying life is not about money. It is not about material possessions. Enjoying life means living in the moment. It means you are present. You are living in the present. It means you are enjoying the moment. It means your mind is with you, not somewhere else.

Many people are not enjoying their lives because they are still waiting for the perfect time. They are still living in the past. They are still thinking about the mistakes they made yesterday. If you want to enjoy your life, you must learn how to live in the moment.

When you live in the moment, it will allow you to know yourself better. It will allow you to know your environment better. It will allow you to connect with the people around you. For example, when you are having a conversation with someone, living in the moment will allow you to REALLY listen to what she or he is saying. But if you are spiritually absent, you will miss everything.

Living in the moment allows us to connect with our inmost self.

Wayne W. Dyer said, “Present-moment living, getting in touch with your ‘now,’ is at the heart of effective living.” If you are not living in the now, you are not connecting with yourself. In order to enjoy our lives, we must connect with ourselves.

The BEST time of your life is NOW! So live it.

When you are in the moment, you are with yourself. It means you are experiencing your best life. It means you are dissolved in what you are doing, in where you are. But when you are not in the moment, it means you are physically present, but spiritually absent. To get the best out of your work, your life, you must be physically and spiritually present.

If you really want to enjoy your life, learn to be in the moment, focus on what you have, focus your thoughts, manage your time, manage your stress, and manage your expectations.

Are you ready to start enjoying your life?
