The end of something is the beginning of another thing. Whatever you may have lost in the past, let it go. You are living in the present, not in the past. If you want God to help you get it back, you must focus your mind on a positive future. You must stop dwelling on your past errors. You must stop focusing on negative things. You must stop expecting negative things to happen to you. You must stop hanging out with negative people.

Remember that the end of a terrible relationship is the beginning of a positive relationship. Remember also that the end of working for a bad boss is the beginning of working for a better boss. The end of your old life is the beginning of your new life. God wants you to focus your mind on better things, not on small things. Remember, God doesn’t create you to live in fear. God created you to live in love. Because God is love. Oswald Chambers said, “It is true that we have lost opportunities which will never return, but God can transform this destructive anxiety into a constructive thoughtfulness for the future.” He also said, “Every exit is an entry somewhere else.” If you want positive things to come to you, you must let go of what is holding you back. You must let go of negative thoughts.

Life is beautiful. “Life is what you make it.” If you focus your mind on positive things, positive things will reflect back to you. Also if you focus on negative things, negative things will reflect back to you. You don’t want to live your life like that. Your mind is a sacred place. Keep it clean. Keep it from all bad things. Your mind is your life. Your mind is your world. Your mind is your house. So if you don’t want to poison your mind, you must dominate your life with positive things, with positive thoughts, with positive friends.

Ernest Holmes said, “Life is a mirror and will reflect back to the thinker what he thinks into it.” You are in control of your mind. What you focus on will grow. If you don’t want negative weeds to take over your mind, you must thinks positive thoughts every day. Emile Coue said, “You have in yourself the instrument of your cure.” And that instrument is your mind. Because if you have the courage to take care of your mind, your mind will take care of you. Do you have the courage to take care of your mind?
