Chance Is Always Powerful

“Chance is always powerful. Let your hook always be cast; in the pod where you least expect it, there will be fish.”- Publius Ovidius

What are you looking for? Are you crying for a new relationship? Are you searching for a new job? Are you planning to move to another city? Are you tired of where you are working?

No matter what you are looking for, you can achieve it. It is within your reach. And to reach it, you must look within yourself. Start with yourself. Look within for what you are looking for. Everything is within you. God has given you everything. All you need to do is to look within yourself.

“You can change yourself, but do not forget your values.”

If you don’t like where you are right now, change it. If you cannot change it, make it better. And if you cannot make it better, leave. But before you do that, you must know why you are living where you are. And when you leave to a new place, do not forget your values. Let your values guide your decisions. And to catch your fish, you must stay away from people who don’t want you to leave where you are. Because you won’t grow if you stay with them. They are okay with what they are doing, but you are not.

You can change yourself, but do not forget your values.

It Takes Character To Be Forgiving

James Allen said, “If men only understood that their hatred and resentment slays their peace and sweet contentment, hurts themselves, helps not another, does not cheer one lonely brother, they would seek the better doing of good deeds which leaves no ruing.”

It takes character to let go of resentment. Resentment does not hurt the other person. Resentment hurts you. It destroys your happiness. It hurts you. It takes your happiness away. But you can get yourself back.

Let resentment go. Don’t let resentment control you. You are better than resentment. You are better than hate. You are a child of Love. God loves you. No matter what you are going though in your life, do not complain. God is not a complainer. All you need to do is to focus on your life. Make peace with yourself. Because if you can’t make peace with yourself, you can’t make peace with others. And to make peace with yourself, with your soul, you must be in control of your life. Dale Carnegie said, “Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain- and most fools do. But it takes character and self-control to be understanding and forgiving.” It takes character to be forgiving. What about you?
