How To Bring Happiness Into The Present State Of Mind.

“If you look solely to the past, you neglect a present that could provide with more happiness memories.”– Philip Zimbardo & John Boyd

If you want to be really happen in your life, embrace nature. Nature is calm. Nature is nature. Nature is simple, but effective. Pay attention to what will make you happy. Do not do what will make you unhappy. Choose your thoughts carefully.

So many of us want to be happy, but we do not know what to do. We don’t know where to find happiness.

Know this: You can be happy if you choose to. It is your choice. To be truly happy, here is what Brian Tracy writes: “To be truly happy, you need a clear sense of direction. You need a commitment to something bigger and more important than yourself. You need to feel that your life stands for something, that you are somehow making a valuable contribution to your world.”

If you want to be happy, live in the present, not in the past. It is okay to acknowledge the past, but do not live there. What you are looking for is happening right now. Focus on it. You will get it.

In The Time Paradox: The New Psychology of Time That Will Change Your Life, Philip Zimbardo and John Boyd write, “When you ignore the present and look primarily to the past or the future for happiness, you can miss the happiness that is right in front of you. If you look solely to the past, you neglect a present that could provide you with more happy memories. If you look solely to the future, you may be unable to enjoy happy events when they arrive. By always looking through the present to the next goal, you likely do not fully appreciate the present. When lost in the past or engrossed in the future, you cannot be present, and happiness rushes by like a gourmet meal eaten in the car on the way to a dentist appointment. Thoughts of the past and the future can bring you happiness, but they do so by bringing happiness in the present state of mind.”

that is right in front of you.”-

Why You Should Stand Up Today, Or Sit Forever

Stand up today. If you messed up yesterday, stand up today. Today is a day of opportunity. It is a day to make up for what you missed yesterday.

It is okay to fall down, but it is not okay to stay there. If you fall down, rest, think, plan, and keep moving. Don’t stay where you fell down. Don’t allow yourself to settle for less. You are bigger, greater, more intelligent than you think you are.

You will fall down. You will make mistakes. But don’t let them define who you are. You are greater, smarter, bigger, and better than what you think.

When you fall down, when you make mistakes, when you fail at something, take it as a time to think, and start again.

When you start again, try to not repeat the same mistakes again. DON’T MAKE IT A HABIT. Don’t worry about your mistakes. Worry about not doing anything to change your life. Worry about not growing in life. Worry about not doing what you are supposed to do to move forward. Those are the things you should spend your time thinking about.

As I said before, it is okay to fall. I fell before. I have done things that I am not proud of. Am I going to sit there and start crying? Hell, no!

For the fact that we are all learning, we are going to fall down from time to time. Our focus is not to stop us from falling, but to reduce how we fall. We are going to be making mistakes everyday. If you cannot make mistakes, take it or not, you cannot grow. You cannot learn. If you can make mistakes, then you can grow.

If you can fall, you can get back up. If you don’t fall, how can you learn how to stand back up? You must first fail to learn how to succeed. You must first fall to learn how to get back up. If you have not failed before, you won’t know what failure really means to you. It pains!

If you fell yesterday, start today.

If you failed yesterday, start today.

If you did not do well at something yesterday, try to do your best today.

Today matters.

Focus on what you are doing today, not what you did yesterday, and not even what you are going to do tomorrow.

Today matters.
