Why You Matter To You

Yes, you matter. You matter to yourself. You matter to the world. The world needs you.

The people in your life need you. They need the whole you! Do not try to be who you are not. It is not going to work.

If you do, if you even try it, you are separating yourself from your real self.

No matter what is going on in your life, you matter. Whether you have money or not, you still matter.

Whether you have the best job or not, you still matter.

Whether you are an expert at what you do or not, you matter.

Whether you are a novice, you don’t know what you are doing, you still matter. You matter.

You matter because there is no one like you. You are the only you on this planet earth.

So, what are you doing to celebrate your own uniqueness? What are you doing to shine God’s light on your life?

If you have not been nice to yourself, you must stop beating yourself up. And you must start living your life. Because you deserve it. Because you matter.

That is why you should not stay with people who don’t appreciate you, who do not value you.

When you do that, you are saying to negative people that ‘I matter.’ And that is how you should always treat yourself.

Because you matter. Because you are who you are for a reason. God is your Father. He created you for greatness.

According to Nikki Nash, ‘There may be a million other people who ‘do what you do.’ But there is only one you.’

When you wake up every morning, remember that ‘there is only one you.’

Always celebrate YOU!

Do You Really know Who Your Friends Are?

Friends are important. The question is, ‘Do you really know who your friends are?’ Do you know what they are doing? Do you know how they treat other people? Do you know how they talk about things they do not understand? Do you know what they do when they are alone? Do you know what they are going after in life? Do you know what they like? Do you know what they do not like?

What about you? How do they talk about you? How do they treat you? Do they celebrate you when you win something? What about when you lose? Do they get angry when you tell them something great about yourself? Are they willing to work with you? Are they mean to you? Are they jealous of you?

Look, friends are important to you, to me, to others. But no one wants to be around people who are going to make you unhappy. No one wants to be with a bad friend, a jealous sucker. No one wants to be with a terrible person.

If you are not comfortable with your friends, you have a choice: move away from them.

If you do not, you are fooling yourself.
