Life is not about doing nothing. Life is about doing something, not about doing everything.
Life is not about wasting time, your time. That is why you should NEVER waste your time.
Don’t waste your time with people who are just going through life. That is not what life is about.
Life is time. If you are NOT doing something that is getting you closer to your dreams, if you are not chasing customers, if you are not creating a culture where your people are free to mess up, if you fail, do not blame it on anybody.
Because no one is responsible for your life. You are.
If you want to win, you must follow those who are getting things done. If you do not know how to reach them, you can ask for help.
Remember, according to Dave Kerpen, ‘Every minute you spend with someone who isn’t going to help you get what you want is a minute spent away from someone who may help you get what you want.’
That is what successful don’t do. They don’t waste their time with people who are not going to help them get what they want. You can do the same.
If you really want to get to your next level, you have got to stay away from people who are not going to help you get what you want.
Remember, to be successful, it is about three things: what you know, who you know, and what they are willing to do for you.
The question is, Are you spending your time with the right people?
