Do Not Focus On What Other People Have

When we’re focused on what other people have, we don’t have time to realize who we are, what we care about, and what we can do to create our own happiness now.’– Alex Liu

Do not resent other people for what they have. Do not envy other people for what they have. You have what it takes to make what they have.

They are not smarter than you. Maybe they just work a little harder than you right now. You can change that. All you have to do is focus on what you want for yourself, for your life.

Do not waste your time and energy on what other people have. If you work harder, you can change your life. Remember, life is not about what you have, but about how happy you are with what you have.

Do not lose yourself to what other people have. Instead, take charge of your life. Commit yourself to what you are doing right now. Do not waste your time.

If are not getting what you want, maybe it is time to change your focus. Why is that? Because if you focus on what other people are doing, you will never have time to do your own thing. And you will never have time to live your own life.

Do you want that to happen to you? If not, then change your focus.

Stop Chasing The Next Rainbow

If you’re always trying to chase the next rainbow, you’ll miss the joy in your life right now.’- Alex Liu

Everything out there is beautiful. Nothing is wrong with other people. They are perfect. You want to be like them. You want to have what they have. You are tired of your own life. You don’t even want to see where you are living right now.

Why is that? Because that is who we are. We are always chasing the next good stuff. We are always chasing the next powerful job, the next handsome man, the next beautiful woman.

That is why so many people are living miserable lives. Because they don’t care about themselves anymore. They have given up. They have mentally checked out of their own lives. They are living other people’s lives now. The question is, is that the right way to go?

Is that the right way to build a better life? Is that the right way to connect with yourself? Is that the right way to make the world a better place? The answer is No!

If you want to build a better world for yourself, if you want to make the world a better place, you must stop chasing the next rainbow.

Instead of chasing the next rainbow, why not use what you have to lift yourself up? Why not nurture your life? Why not pay attention to your wants and needs? Why not take a different look at your job? Why not accept your life the way it is? Why not accept yourself for who you are? And why not celebrate your life?

Whether you want to agree with me or not, you have what you need to live a better life. You have you. And that is good enough.
