What Is Success Really About?

Is success really about you? Or is it about your actions? Or is it about your words? Or is it about your thoughts? Or is it about how you treat other people? Or is it about how you treat yourself? What does it really mean to you? For the purpose of this note, success is not about you. It is more than you. It is about how you live your life. It is about how you treat other people, especially the little guys, the vulnerable ones, the homeless ones, the poor ones. It is about knowing what you want in your life and going for it. It is about doing what you want to do to change your life. It is about taking positive actions that will change the lives of other people. That is what success is all about. Success is not about what you have; it is about what you give to change the lives of other people. Success is not about you; it is about other people. Because no one succeeds alone. Whatever you have, you didn’t do it alone. If you want to succeed, help other people succeed. Keep doing good things. Keep changing the world. Respect yourself. Treat people with respect. Don’t try to make everybody happy. It won’t work. That is not success. Success is making yourself happy. Success is thinking positively about yourself, your work, your relationships. Because if you don’t like yourself, don’t expect other people to like you. You are your message. You are your own messager. If you want people to help you tomorrow, be nice to them today. Because your tomorrow is happening right now, right where you are. Don’t ignore it. Live it.
