Transitioning is…

Whether we know it or not, we are transitioning everyday. We are changing everyday. Why are we transitioning? Do we really like to do it? Why is it important?

Let us face it. No one likes to change, to move, to do things in a different way, to move a way from our friends, to change school, to change course, to change our shoes, yes, our shoes. We don’t like to transition from one place to another. Why?

Because it is difficult. Transitioning means you have to give up your old ways of doing things. It means you have to do things in different ways. It means you are growing. It requires you to leave your comfort zone. It requires you to move from one city to another city. It means you have to forget the past and embrace the future. It means you are developing. It means you are adjusting. It means you are transforming. It means you are adapting.

If transitioning is so important to our growth and development, why are people not transitioning?

People don’t like to transition or to change the way they do things because they are afraid of the unknown. They don’t know what to expect. They know that it is very emotional, very stressful, very uncomfortable, and it takes longer time to complete.

“Transitioning is Changing.”

In order to grow, you have to get comfortable with change. Transitioning is changing. If you want to transition or change to a complete different thing, start by believing in yourself that you can do it. Then start. Surround yourself with people who will lift you up. Surround yourself with people who have gone through the same process. Talk to them. Focus on ‘why’ you are changing. Don’t listen to what people are saying. They are irrelevant. What is necessary is what you are doing- changing. Even if it is not working out in the beginning, don’t give up. Keep trying and believing in yourself until you succeed. And you will.

Why You Should Build Your Own Dream

A purposeful life is a meaningful life. One of the reasons we are here on earth is to live a purposeful life. It is the foundation of our lives. It is the foundation of your life. A life without purpose is a meaningless life. A life with purpose is a meaningful life.

To have a dream is to have hope to pursue your dream. If you don’t have a dream, you don’t have any reason to live. A dream is a goal that you set for yourself to achieve. You can only achieve your dream if you know where you are going.

To know where you are going in life, to know what you want to achieve and how to achieve it, you must know how to make peace with your values. Your values control your decisions. Your values guide your life. Your values make your life meaningful. They push you to do more, to be careful, to make the right decisions, and to stay away from what is wrong.

If you want to build your own dream, if you want to live a purposeful life, you must do the right thing, even if no one is watching you. You must create your own path, meaning you must do your own thing. You must live your own life, in your own way. You must find something that you are passionate about. You must live and practice your own values, not someone else’s values. You must commit yourself to being there for people, when they need you. You must learn how to serve others and yourself.

If you don’t build your own dream, if you don’t build your own life, another person will take control of your life and do it for you. If you allow that to happen, then you are living someone else’s dream, not yours.
