How To Make Things Work For You, Not Against You

Talking about what you want, what you are going to do, it is not enough. It is not going to take you to where you want to go. Talk is cheap. But it doesn’t have what you are looking for. It can’t give you growth. It can’t help you get better. It can’t lift you up.

If you just talk, then you are going to remain where you are. But if you take action, you are a moving boat. You are a ‘sailboat.’ You are not ‘a stationary sailboat.’ You are moving closer to your dream. You are challenging yourself. You know what you want. And you are working to make it happen.

You know that no one is going to make it work for you. You are not waiting for people to give you permission. You are already on your way to where you want to be. You do not have time to waste anymore. You are already making a difference with people who are changing the world, who are changing their lives.

If you want growth to come to you, you must do what growth wants. Because growth is not going to happen if you don’t want to work. If you want to work, growth will come to you. But if you do not want to work for what you want, you are just wasting your time.

Don’t do that to yourself. You have what it takes to change your life, to change your world. But if you don’t put yourself to work, nothing is going to work for you. Remember that ‘faith that isn’t experiencing by doing what it has learned is a boat tied to the dock.’

You are not ‘tied to the dock!’

Calling Yourself A Courageous Person Does Not Make You One. Here is Why

Courage is life. It is the way. If you want to experience a new life, a different life, courage is the way. You have got to think courageous thoughts. You have got to live like a courageous person. And you have got to embrace courage.

The question is, ‘Are you a courageous person?’ Because a courageous person is a person who is not afraid to say ‘yes’ to life, who is not afraid to stand up for something bigger, who is not afraid to stand up for others, even when it is not comfortable.

But calling yourself a courageous person does not make you one. Why is that? Because courage does not talk. Courage acts. Courage does not believe in words. Courage believes in actions.

You are a courageous person when you know what is going on around you, when you are not afraid to say, ‘enough is enough.’

You are a courageous person when you have the courage to leave your blood-sucking job, when you have the courage to leave your life-taking relationship.

You are a courageous person when you have the courage to ask for what you want, to take care of yourself, to believe in your life.

You are a courageous person when you have the courage to follow your heart, even when other people are not comfortable with your decision.

You are a courageous person when you have the courage to think for yourself, to be an independent thinker.

The question is, ‘Do you have the courage to question what you do not understand?’
