Always Do Things That Mean Something To You

If something doesn’t make sense to you, then don’t do it. If you do, you are the one who is going to face your music.

Just because everybody is doing the same thing does not make it right. If it is good for them, then let them do it. If it is not right for you, don’t even think about it.

Why is that? Because you are going to waste your time. It is not going to make you a better person. So why do it?

If painting makes sense to you, then go for it. If music makes sense to you, then go for it. If you love reading, then read more books.

Don’t just do things because they are popular. Do things because they are going to make you better. Do things because they are going to increase your value in the market place. Do things that make you come alive. Why? Because the world is looking for people who have the courage to follow their dreams.

Always Evaluate Yourself In A Productive Way

When it comes to your growth, when it comes to your life,
do not lie to yourself. 
You can lie to other people but not to yourself.
If you can, do not lie to other people. Because if you do, it is coming back to hurt you.
It is better to be honest with yourself. It is also important that you always tell the truth.

Because the only thing that can take you to your next level in your life, in your career, 
is being honest with yourself. When you are honest with yourself, people will see it.

If you continue to lie to yourself, if you are not telling yourself the truth about your growth,
if you are not honest about what you can do, you will get into trouble.
To avoid that, you must be honest with the people around you. 
They can help you get what you want. But for that to happen, you must first help yourself
get what you want.

What do you want? You want to grow, right? Then how are you going to get there? By doing what 
you can do. By doing what you say you are going to do. By being the person you say you are. 
By standing up for what you believe in. And by evaluating yourself in a productive way.
If not, you are not going to grow. I hope you are telling yourself the truth.
