Embrace Imperfection For Genuine Growth

Trying to be perfect is a road to nowhere. It is cheating yourself. It is cheating life. And it is cheating your growth and productivity.

Do not take that road. Because you are not going anywhere. You are going to be walking around. You are going to be busy, but you are not going to get to where you want to be.

Remember that perfection is not about you. It is not about what you know, what you can do. It is about your perception. It is about how you see life, how you see your life, and how you see the world around you.

But why do we focus too much on being perfect? Why do we want to be perfect?

We can achieve a lot. But not by trying to be perfect. Because it is not going to happen. The best way, the fastest way to success is to embrace your weaknesses. It is to agree with yourself that you can never be perfect, that you are not alone in the game, that other people have their own weaknesses.

They do. You are not the only one. You are not alone. So if you want to really make a difference in your life, if you want to change your life, you have got to embrace your weaknesses.

Because your weaknesses are not really your weaknesses. They are your strengths. If you have the courage to embrace your weaknesses, they will make you stronger, not weaker.

Are You Enjoying The Game?

If yes, you are doing the right thing. If you are not enjoying your game, what is going on?

Do not get discouraged. Do not get frustrated. Because you are not done. It is just the beginning.

Do not give up. Life is about competition. But the best one is when you compete with yourself. If you want peace of mind, don’t compete with other people.

Why is that? Because we are not perfect. Because you are not perfect. You are not good at everything. You have your weaknesses. You have your strengths.

No matter how smart you are, someone out there is smarter than you. No matter how successful you are, someone out there has more than you.

That is why, according to Joel Comm, ‘the key is to enjoy the game.’
