If you are going to be an effective leader,
you are going to put other people's interests before your own.
Do not put yourself first. If you do, no one is going to follow you.
And a leader without a follower is not a leader.
And do not forget that life is not about you. It is about others.
So if you want others to follow you, put them first.
If you are not growing, if you are not increasing in your life,
it means you are avoiding something.
If you are not growing in your life, in your career,
it means you are not doing something right.
If you are always meeting the wrong people,
it means you are always thinking the wrong thoughts.
You can change your situation. You can change your life.
But to do that, you must change something. You must change your thoughts.
You must change how you see yourself.
Why is that? Because you can't grow more than your self-perception.
You can't do more than your thoughts. You can't create more than your thoughts.
Do not forget that your thoughts are responsible for your actions.
If you want to take your life to a new level, you must learn how to
accept responsibility for your growth.
Do not forget that you cannot get what you do not control.
Take control of your life. That is why it is your life.
If you do not have the courage to control it, do not worry,
someone else is coming to help you. I hope that is not where you want to be.
Do not wait for people to lift you up. It is your responsibility to lift yourself up,
then people will join you. People will follow you. People will do what you want them to do.
If you are in a leadership position, people don't care how much you know.
All they want to see is action. If you can show them what you are capable of, they will
show you what they can do for you.
If you want other people to believe in you, you must first show them what you can do.
To do that, you must be the driver of your life.
Because you cannot control what doesn't belong to you. Take charge of your life,
so that you can control it.
