Do Not Be Afraid To Change Your Mind

If things are not working for you, do not get frustrated. Do not beat yourself up. Ask yourself, ‘What is going on? Why am I not getting it right? What am I missing?’ Never ask, ‘Why me?’ That is not good. That is not good for you. Just because you are learning does not mean you are not going to get better.

Just beacuse you are struggling to understand something does not mean you are stupid. Just because you are still trying to know yourself better doesn’t mean you are a weak person. Just because you don’t want to be abused by those who don’t know you, that doesn’t mean you are a bad person. Or that you are a loner. You are not a loner. You love yourself. You don’t want to be abused by people who don’t know what it really means to be alive.

If something is not for you, do not pretend to like it. If you do, you are wasting your time. If you are not comfortable with people, do not pretend to like them. It is okay to say, ‘I love myself more.’ Do not pretend to do anything that you are not proud of. If you do, you are hurting yourself.

Why Hope Matters

No matter what stage of life you’re at right now, keep reminding yourself that it will get better. Just keep being your bad bitch self, and it will all work out the way it’s supposed to in the end, with you ruling your own life on your own terms and no thought for any of the haters.’– Amber Rose

Go to work for yourself. Go to work for your dreams. And be willing to give more, not less. Just know that not everybody is going to celebrate you when you succeed.

But people will have a lot to say if you do not make it. That is okay. Do not let that bother you. Let them talk. Your work is not to stop them from talking. Your work is to keep going, is to keep making a difference. To keep hope alive.

Is it going to be perfect? No, it is going to be hard. But do not give up. Believe in what you are doing. According to Amber, ‘Everytime you trust yourself, every time you do something scary or hard, you become a little bit stronger.‘ That is how we grow. That is how we make progress.

If you want to make yourself stronger, to prepare yourself for what is next, you have got to be true to yourself. The question is, ‘Are you in it for you?’
