Look, life is sweet when you are with the right people, when you are living your life, when you are doing meaningful things, when you are doing something bigger than yourself.
Life is bitter when you are with the wrong people, people who are working day and night to tear you down, people who never see anything good in you, people who are not for your dreams, people who are not willing to help you become a better human being.
You can help yourself. You can take care of yourself. Do not wait for other people to come and decide how you will live your life.
You can't change other people. But you can change yourself. You can change your life. And you can "empty your life of the wrong people."
If you do not have the courage to empty your life of the wrong people, you will never attract the right ones into your life.
Joel Osteen writes, "If you don't empty your life of the wrong people, you will never meet the right people."
To meet the right people, you must make room for them to come into your life. If you can't attract them, the right people, they won't come. To do that, you must first let go of the wrong people in your life.
It doesn't matter who they are. They are suckers!
If you want to make peace with yourself, you must not surround yourself with people who are making your life miserable. Life is to short to move around with people who do not even appreciate you for who you are, not for what you have.
When you appreciate people, they grow bigger. When someone you admire recognizes you, it makes you feel better about yourself.
Do not forget that no one can make you feel miserable about yourself. Why is that? Simple. Because you are the owner of your own life. If you are not in charge of your life, then who? You tell me!
To enjoy the life that God has given you, you must stop beating yourself up. You must stop reliving your past. You must love who you are, regardless of what is in your bank account. Do not let worldly possessions posses your life. Live your life in a way that will attract people who can help you.
Control your life. Because you are in charge of your train. You can drive yourself to wherever you want to go. But to arrive there, you must have the courage to start your engine. You must have the courage to take the first step. Because without the first step, you won't be able to take the second step. And if you can't continue to move, then you can't continue to grow.
And to grow, you must move. You must not be afraid of failure. You must welcome failure into your world. And when you do, you will never be afraid of failure in your life.
Make failure your friend. Do not let people scare you to death. Take your own actions. Because without actions, intentional actions, your dreams are just dreams. They will never happen. Because for something to happen, there must be actions. Will you take your own actions to change your life, to change your world?
