Stop Playing Not To Lose

It is okay to lose. That is how we learn. That is how we get better at what we do. So it is okay to lose. It is okay to fail. It is okay to make mistakes.

When you lose, take it as an opportunity to get better, to know more about yourself. Take it as an opportunity to reach out to other people who are better than you at what you are doing. And when you lose, take it as an opportunity to question your ego.

‘If you are playing not to lose, you are already losing.’

Yes, your ego. You can’t win by respecting your ego. You can’t win if you don’t pocket your ego. Guess what? If you don’t pocket your ego, your ego will pocket you.

But it is not okay to focus on what is easy. Look, if you focus on what is easy, you will get what is easy. And what is easy doesn’t make you better. It makes you worse.

Do not be scared.

Everything is possible.

But to get there, the world of possibilities, you must stop playing not to lose. It won’t help you. If you are playing not to lose, you are already losing.

‘No one wins when fear is in charge.’

Because you are not giving your best. You are not becoming your best. And you are not connecting with the best. And above all, you are not being true to yourself.

To move forward in your life, you must stop playing not to lose. And you must start taking calculated risks. Do not allow fear to cripple you. Do not allow fear to control you. If you do, you will never achieve your dreams. Because no one wins when fear is in charge.

How To Lead A Richer Life

You can do it. It is within your reach. Whatever you are doing right now is getting you ready for your next move. Whether you are getting it or not, do not get discouraged. Do not give up. You have what it takes to get things done.

And you can change your life. The choice is yours. And the time is now.

Do not let fear keep you where you are. Remember, if you want to get better at what you do, if you want to improve your life, or to change the direction of your life, something need to change.

And it starts with you.

If you do not change, nothing is going to change. Take a leap of faith. Believe in yourself. It is hard, but you can do it.

When you commit yourself to it, you can do it. When you focus on it, you can do it. But you must take a jump. According to Michael Clinton, ‘Sometimes you just have to jump in, knowing that you are vulnerable and open to potential hurt. But by jumping, at least you will lead a richer life, one that is filled with emotions and memories- reminders that you have lived!’

If you want to lead a richer life, you must take charge of your life.
